Invalid Extensions -- More like traditional PBX systems?
I was wondering if there was a way of setting up the dialplan in a way that if you dial an extension that is NOT in the dialplan then it would play a not-in-service gsm file and then play congestion tones. I would rather like this better than just hearing a busy signal on my phones.. I DID search around on the wiki and using google and could not find anything. Thanks. -- Stephen Rosebush,

[LLVMdev] Can I get the binary address of a for-loop statement?

integrating with existing PBX
I'm looking for a way to give VoIP capabilities to an existing PBX: it's made by Mitel and it's used in a small/medium environment (a few dozen phones, but the PBX has capabilities for up to 200, if i remember correctly). Any high-level guidelines on how to integrate Asterisk with a PBX that's already in use? Probably that particular PBX is not supported directly, but are there

Laptop display issue
I now have an older laptop with a display problem. I installed Centos 7 on it in February and had to install the xorg-x11-drv-ati and evdev drivers because the docking station has an ATI Radeon card. Everything worked fine with a dual display setup. I probably after that ran a system update but did not reboot while in this office. Today, when I got to the office again for the first time in seven

[PATCH] Accept 3d controllers and not only VGA controllers.
Without a NULL pointer safe-guard patch, I get a kernel oops when I plug in external displays in my docking station, (exactly the same issue as https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=101778) and without removing or modifying the check (accepting PCI_CLASS_DISPLAY_3D in the if-condition), I cannot use external displays through my docking station. This is on an optimus system where I use

I bet my wife's new Latitude 15 5000 would be problematic, it uses USB C/Thunderport for its docking station which has 2 additional video adapters in it. She's even having some issues

Switch off laptop screen when docked with lid close - CentOS 7
Hi, I'm using CentOS on a laptop that part of the time is connected to a docking station with two monitor connected to it. When the laptop lid is docked, its lid is closed, as the system is placed in a position where it's not convenient to keep it open, let alone look at the screen. Now in the past, with CentOS 5 (on a different laptop, but same physical config) and 6, the screen has

s/key authentication for Apache on FreeBSD?
I'm constructing a Web server which may require restricted areas of the site to be used from public places where a password might be sniffed. The damage that could be done by taking snapshots of the content from one session with a spy program is minimal. What the owner of the server does NOT want, though, is to allow unauthorized parties to gain unfettered access by stealing the password via

omega crawler: ht://dig or wget?
At wiki page: http://wiki.xapian.org/Omega I added a comment that ht://Dig looks like dead. Does anybody really use it? >From brief glance at docs I had a feeling it is not easy to configure. Maybe better crawler is GNU wget? Mature, stable, maintained? -- Peter Masiar

Dealing with roaming machines
Hey folks, As most of everyone, I use OpenSSH for almost everything and whenever I can: backups, sync, Git, configuration management, and of course console sessions. So much for an intro ;) My laptop and I roam between three networks, though sometimes I leave the laptop at the office overnight, or hop over to the third site for an hour or two. I'd like to find a way to configure OpenSSH (or
