feature request: control in ogg123
Hi people! I think it would be cool if ogg123 had a mode in which you could conrol it with stdin. pausing, quitting/stopping and seeking would be enough imho. mpg123 already has something like this (I think -e). I'd do it myself but I'm busy. Shouldn't take much time. Bye, Peter Surda (Shurdeek) <surda@bigfoot.com>, ICQ 10236103, +4369910964300 -- The dark ages

Are xen and centos incompatible?
Hi, I'm trying to pass a physical network interface through to a domU. This seems to be impossible because the way xen wants to do it is incompatible with the way centos wants to do it. I followed documentation on http://www.xen-support.com/?p=151 and tried booting with 'pciback.permissive pciback.hide=(06:00.0)'. This gives a hint in dmesg "kernel: xen-pciback: backend is

discriminate analysis
Dear List, I'd like to run a discriminate analysis on a data set, but have no idea how to go about this in R. I have attempted to locate info in the manuals, but may not be consulting the right sections or documents. Can anyone point me to appropriate documentation if such exists. Many thanks, David S. using by to plot
Hello, I would like to use by to create a series of plots, but I'm not sure how to design the function. Here's what I've got: 1. A data frame of observations of measured value 2 measured vlaues and a pch code. V1 V2 pchCode .0045 123 1 .0034 145 2 .0045 123 1 .0046 167 3 ... So what I want to do is create a single scatterplot of the multiple conditions (specified by

Ogg icons / glyphs -- use of copyrighted images?
Do we have a standard icon and/or glyphs identified for GUI-based applications? I'm adding Vorbis support to CDMaster32 and I'm finding I'm in need of 17x17 glyphs (.bmp) to graphically show progress of OGG files. Has anyone thought about this? If not I was thinking of modifying/reducing the Xiphophorus "fish" logo to use in my application; however, since the xiph www site

This is what is happening to lsusb, too (tries to fetch 549 bytes, gets only 9). and is there anything I can do to fix, short of hoping to receive an updated unbroken firmware for the UPS from a support

ogg123 STDIN-control patch
Hello ppl! I asked some time ago how about adding the option to control ogg123 interactively from command line, similar to mpg123. So I got fed up waiting and added it myself today. The code initially comes from mpg123, I already adapted it to work with aviplay and vlc so it's proven and shouldn't introduce many problems. The only problems I see now: - in order to compile ogg123 now

strange messages in log
I just upgraded to Debian 2.2 and Samba 2.0.7-3, but Samba isn't working. When I try and connect to a share from my windows box, I get a message "The specified computer did not receive your request. Please try again later." when I try to connect as I boot and "Permanent connection not available" if I try and connect later. Here are the messages from my log file. Does

write a bunch of objects to files
Hello all, I've got a bunch of objects I'd like to write to .csv files. For example, I have objects conveniently called n002.csv n001.csv p103.csv . . . I tried a loop: > for(i in ls(pattern="csv")) +write.table(i, file=i, sep=",", quote=F) That, of course, wrote out a bunch of files that contained x 1, n002.csv Or the like. How can I get i in the loop above

Re: Remove Virtual bridge and DNSMASQ
HI Michal Thank you for explaining. I have this situation in a number of production servers where we would always use static IPs for the host and VMs. In such case we have no requirement for NATed network in the future. And we we ever do, we can rely on a DHCP server within the LAN to provide IPs to the VMs. I'll look to remove both libivirt-daemon-driver-network,
