samba 4.13.17 ubuntu 20.04
Hi, today we've installed latest samba update on ubuntu 20.04: 2:4.13.17~dfsg-0ubuntu1.20.04.5 Now the login issue is solved. We've rolled back the windows settings for local security for Kerberos encryption. Many thanks to the developers and support Best regards Frank -----Urspr?ngliche Nachricht----- Von: Andreas Hasenack <andreas at canonical.com> Gesendet: Donnerstag, 26.

Upgrade Gluster 3.7 to 3.12 and add 3rd replica [howto/help]
Hi Diego, I?ve tried to upgrade and then extend gluster with 3rd node in virtualbox test environment and all went without problems. Sharding will not help me at this time so I will consider upgrading 1G to 10G before this procedure in production. That should lower downtime - healing time of VM image files on Gluster. I hope healing will take as short as possible on 10G. Additional info for

any way to convert back to DateTime class when "accidental" conversion to numeric?
Hi, In short, I would like to know if there is any way to convert a numeric into a date, similar to how strptime() can convert a string to a date time class? There are some functions, etc. which don't work well with dates, and tend to force them into numerics. I understand that the number it spits back is the number of seconds since the beginning of 1970 (see the first few sentences

Printing with smbspool_krb5_wrapper not working in Ubuntu 16.04
Thanks for your reply! I have now filed a bug in launchpad (https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/samba/+bug/1708817). When I compare the cups error_log with 14.04 where it does work I see that 16.04 uses two backslashes when setting KRB5CCNAME while 14.04 does not use backslashes, maybe that is the problem? Sometimes the cups error_log also have the below line "HTTP_STATE_WAITING

S4 classes, some help with the basics
Hi All, I have tried to find an answer within documentation, but I cannot: o How can call a class "slot" without knowing the name a priori? E.g., let's say I use the "pcaMethods" library to create a "pcaRes" object. How can I call parts of that object without using the specific names of the object in the call? example code: library(pcaMethods)

NEWS typos, download.file.Rd tweaks
Some small changes (typo, punctuation fix) to the NEWS file, and some suggested changes to download.file.Rd (I found some of the phrasing awkward/hard to parse, and got carried away). (I *think* .txt attachments are OK on the list?) FWIW I started fixing the download.file man page because I went there to understand/be horrified by the following (documented!) infelicity: with the default

First of all thanks for your fast reply. Second. The server im trying to use is https://dav.mailbox.org/caldav I dont think its a problem with my configuration (although i can always be wrong). I suspect a bug in evolution because sometimes it works. Sometimes i manage to create an event sometimes i cant. I started evolution from a terminal and i noticed that when i fail to create an event i

Glusterfs 3.10.3 has been tagged
Apologies for delay in sending mail about builds. We have packages ready for all distributions, thanks to Kaleb and Niels. As per [1] (mostly[2]): * Packages for Fedora 24 and Fedora 27 are available at [3]. * Packages for Fedora 25 and Fedora 26 are built and queued in Fedora bodhi for testing. Once pushed to testing they will be available in the Updates-Testing repo. After a nominal testing

any updates w.r.t. lapply, sapply, apply retaining classes
Hi All, I don't have a "I need help" question, so much as a query into any update whether 'R' has made any progress with some of the core functions retaining classes. As an example, because it's one of the cases that most egregiously impacts me & my work and keeps pushing me away from 'R' and into other numerical languages (such as NumPy in python), I
