I may have a deficiency in understanding the procedure for ADS authentication with samba, but most of the server setup works so far. I have been noticing an issue with file permissions and curious as to your thoughts on this. In the one directory the files started as... ...a 777 file was users[100] and root...now they are gc[1002] and fred_smith [1005], but the permissions changed to 764.
