OpenSSH 4.0p1 ignoring password authentication
Hello,
I recently compiled OpenSSH 4.0p1 with OpenSSL 0.9.7g on my Linux
2.6.11.3 machine. When I try to connect, the connection is
immediately closed. When I setup public key authentication, I am able
to login using my public key. However password authentication seems to
be ignored. I attached debugging output from both the server and
client.
$ ssh -vvv localhost

creating Kerberos host principals for multiple hostnames, multihomed server
Hai,

looks to me a bit overkill, but you wil have your reasons this a setup like this..
so.. you can try this..
asumming this :

DNSDOMAIN=my.domain.tld
and a serviceaccount the spn's.

Hi Talur,
I've successfully got Gluster deployed as a DaemonSet using k8s spec
file glusterfs-daemonset.json from
https://github.com/heketi/heketi/tree/master/extras/kubernetes
but then when I try deploying heketi using heketi-deployment.json spec
file, I end up with a CrashLoopBackOff pod.

Hi Bishoy,
Adding Talur who can help address your queries on Heketi.
@wattsteve's github repo on glusterfs-kubernetes is a bit dated. You can
either refer to gluster/gluster-kubernetes or heketi/heketi for current
documentation and operational procedures.

Vijay

Hi,
I'm trying to deploy Gluster and Heketi on a Kubernetes cluster
I'm following the guide at https://github.com/gluster/gluster-kubernetes/
but the video referenced in the page is showing json files used while the
git repo has only yaml files, they are quiet similar though, but Gluster is
a deployment not a DaemonSet.
I deploy Gluster DaemonSet successfully, but heketi is giving me the

AD + Double Hop + Kerberos Delegation
Hello all,
I am running v3.4.5 of Samba. Does this version support double hop kerberos
authentication? I turned the log level up to 3 and found that it is passing
only the hostname. This leads me to believe that the double hop part is not
working.
I did read that it is supposed to work in Samba4 via

NFSv4 delegation
hi all,
i'm managing a large installation of a dovecot cluster in director + NFS
backend architecture and we are moving from NFSv3 to NFSv4. Our NFS
server is a Netapp in clustered mode and reading technical specs of
NFSv4 delegation feature it seems that enabling delegation in this type of
dovecot architecture should bring great benefits: only one backend server access
a specific mailbox at a

NFSv4 delegation
Hi,
last day I tried to enable "nfsv4 delegation" on my cluster (enable
nfsv4.0 and read delegation on Netapp and remount the volume on Linux
Centos 6.7 clients with Dovecot+Director).
It was a failure, after some minutes the load on clients was high, and
in dovecot.log I found these errors (repeated continuously):
Aug 17 20:28:17 pop01eeh dovecot: imap(info at domain.com): Error:

NFSv4 delegation
Hi,
in this tipical setup (Dovecot/Director thate share Maildir via NFS) on
your NFS Server you have (about) 90% of read operations and only 10% of
write operations.
If you see detailed stats for NFS operations you have 40-50% of GETATTR,
this means that NFS/Dovecot clients are caching data (mainly dovecot
index files) but they have to revalidate the cache frequently asking to

Samba4 subdomain delegation
Hi,
we're planning a Samba 3 to Samba 4 upgrade, and we're quite happy
with the tests we've done. Everything worked as expected, and I hope
that the migration will be done without major issues (famous last
words). But we're having some problems with subdomain delegation.
Our setup is formed by the Samba server and a DNS server running
Bind 9. The DNS server is used

Local Administrators (group) and delegation in AD
I'm thick :D
I don't really understand more :(
Samba can share file, printers and when samba hosts a domain samba is also
acting as a users database.
All that can be managed from Windows side or Linux side.
Delegation on Windows is quiet well documented I expect by Microsoft itself
and in the Samba Wiki.
According to that I expect your question is about how to delegate Samba
management

Trusted for delegation?
I ran samba-tool delegation show administrator and got this:
athena:~# samba-tool delegation show administrator
Account-DN: CN=Administrator,CN=Users,DC=edm-inc,DC=com
UF_TRUSTED_FOR_DELEGATION: False
UF_TRUSTED_TO_AUTHENTICATE_FOR_DELEGATION: False
Is this legit?? Shouldn't the domain administrator be true for these?

DHCPv6 prefix delegation
Is there an DHCPv6 client in CentOS that supports prefix delegation
correctly? The old version of dhclient can't set a requested prefix
delegation length, so isn't very useful, and I can't get the even-older
wide-dhcpv6 from EPEL to work.

delegation of admin rights
Hello,
We're a rather largish university (largest in Israel), with some
60-70k users, using Dovecot 1.2.14
(we're cautious about moving to 2.0.x for now).
We need to provide admin rights to faculty computer/IT staff, so they
can have access to the mailboxes
of their respective users. We use LDAP as an
authentication/authorization backend.
Currently, dovecot has a "master

Event delegation library that interacts with Scriptaculous
Hey Guys,
Wanted to let you know about an event delegation library that
interacts with Scriptaculous that we''ve used to make interactive UI
elements with really clean code. We used it with Scriptaculous to
create the scrolling widgets on the homepage of http://javascriptmvc.com/.
It''s called Controller and it is an event delegation library that
