WINE Configuration for MDK 9.0!
I run MDK 9.0 which has Win 98 as well installed. I did NOT do any changes to
the configuration file. However, I am able to run freecell.exe and
notepad.exe applications. However when I try to run iexplore.exe after cd'ing
into the mnt/windows/program Files/ directory. The wine just collapeses with
bunch of error messages.
I am just wondering has any body successfully run ie on MDK 9.0

Log errors on domain member
Hi folks,
The smb.conf and other information after specification of the problems.
The journal on a AD domain member server is cluttered with permission
denied entries of this message pair:

Compile samba github code and flash the build binary to embedded device
Hi Rowland,
Yes, the files I want should be in that folder : /usr/local/samba
It is 186 kB, a very huge files.
*Which is the compulsory files need for file sharing?*
*Which files or sub-folder can I ignore?*
Thank you.

Compile samba github code and flash the build binary to embedded device
Hi Rowland and All,
Can you answer 2 question below?
1. Does the host still able to share file to Windows, IOS and Android
devices?
2. Does 74 kB of samba files is the typical file size be implemented in
embedded device?

Yes, this socket does exist on a DC. It is being listened
by "samba: task[rpc] pre-forked worker(0)".
It does not exist on a member server, where I observe these
log messages.

Hi All,
I've samba (4.11.2) on centos 8 connected to IPA.

samba 4 ad member - idmap = ad for machine accounts
Hi all,
I have exactly the same problem as the OP and tried the solution below, but
I still get the error:
'Username IUCNNL\PC050$ is invalid on this system'. Should I map
useraccount, enable Guest account, chang eunix directory permissions or
things like that?
Problem:
My Windows 10 computers' machine accounts cannot acces shares on a domain
member (samba 4.6 , id map = ad, centos

Apparent bug remains in v4.0.7 - Hosts allow parameter causing errors and vey slow MS Office document access
>From smb.conf:
hosts allow = 10.0.0. 127.
Same story using the following syntax instead:
hosts allow = 10.0.0.0/24 127.0.0.1/8
If I comment out the hosts allow line, the slow MS Office document access
and most of the errors in the log go away.
