CIFS Null Session Vulnerability Fix in Samba 3.5.10
Hi Volker, Reaching to RedHat is not the option for me right now, could you please tell me are there any configuration parameters in smb.conf which will avoid issuing NULL or Anonymous connections or sessions. reversing xlim, ylim in smoothScatter
Hello, I have found that in smoothScatter it is not possible to reverse the axes plotted (R version 2.9.0) .   It appears that this arises from the hard coding of xlim and ylim in smoothscatter.R in the lines : x <- x[ xlim[1] <= x[,1] & x[,1] <=xlim[2], ]   (line  number 25) and x <- x[ ylim[1] <= x[,2] & x[,2] <= ylim[2], ]  (line number 31) This results in a x

Creating an IAX/SIP-to-ISDN PRI gateway
Hi all, I'd like to setup a really lean Asterisk installation that essentially has a full ISDN PRI (AT&T, T1, 23 B-chans, 1 D-chan, BZ8S, 5ESS, National dialplan) on a Digium TE207P adapter that all it does is convert the ISDN channels to SIP/IAX channels. Then I would add this Asterisk 'gateway' as a provider on one (or many) Asterisk systems on the back. With such a config I

PRI Gateway - Worth it?
Hi all, I was looking to build a SIP-to-PRI gateway using Asterisk (as in my other post), but there is also an alternative of using a Cisco router with something like an NM-HDV module with a T1 VIC module and DSP channel banks. The question is, would it be more reliable to offload all dahdi/zaptel/libpri type stuff to a dedicated gateway device (Asterisk or Cisco) and have the Asterisk PBX only

Hi, We have software raid level 5 using 6 IDE disks amounting to about 500Gb. Its an ext3 filesystem which is NFS exported to a number of other machines. Recently, after running /etc/init.d/nfs-kernel-server stop /etc/init.d/nfs-common stop /etc/init.d/nfs-common start /etc/init.d/nfs-kernel-server start the whole raid array is gone. The file system is consistent and is the right size but no

Problem with Bonding Driver
Hi, I've using linux bonding in active-backup mode to combine two pairs of GigE NICs (eth0/eth1, eth2/eth3) into two logical bonds (bond0/bond1). All is working fine. However, I would like to specify a primary interface for each bond. This means I need to specify different options to the bonding module for each bond. I have tried every conceivable incantation of options and cannot get the

libvirt: C++ or Java
Hello, I am planning to develop a management application for managing Redhat Xen and Redhat KVM hypervisors. I am evaluating the Java bindings versus the C++ version of libvirt. As part of evaluation, I could not find meaningful answers to the questions below. Hence, I thought that people on this mailing list would be the most appropriate to comment on them. Can you please let me know your views?

I'm still having a delay in the transmit if the receivers end is a slow network. Hence i am looking forward to use speex codec to compress the audio further before transmitting. Is there is any one who as implemented it? If so, please send me an example code so

how does one remove bond1?
Hi List, We're using bonding to create bond0 with 2 NICs, and noticing that CentOS 5 2.6.18-8.1.14.el5 (and presumably older) creates bond1 as well. I'd like to remove bond1 from the system, so that our monitoring scripts don't pick it up, except for those machines that actually do have a bond1. So... how does one remove bond1? Thanks! Debian 9.8 and vanbelle-repos
Hai, That bond0 interface, you might want to change that the interface name to bond1 Depending on the bonding settings, you might have hit a reserved name. I lots my docu on that but i know i configured a bond1 because bond0 didn work right. And then check these. wbinfo -pPt ( or wbinfo -p && wbinfo -P && wbinfo -t ) wbinfo --sids-to-unix-ids S-1-22-2-10513 wbinfo -D

HTB and BOND Interface
Hi! Is it HTB fully compatible with BOND interface? I have this setup (mode= fault tolerance) : BOND0 -> ETH0 + ETH1 BOND1 -> ETH2 + ETH3 ( http://www.kernel.org/pub/linux/kernel/people/marcelo/linux-2.4/Documentation/networking/bonding.txt ) HTB work very well with Class over BOND0. If I add Class for BOND1 it generate balance errors. Also with HTB.init
