Invoice numbering for customers
Just wanted to ask a quick question here. I am running GNUC 2.6.12 and
when I create a invoice for a customer I have to enter an invoice
number. I was thinking perhaps there is setting somewhere that I missed
to get it to automatically fill in a invoice number? Id hate to have
invoices with the same invoice number since I have to manually type them
in right now.
Thank you,

Trust relationship between workstation and domain failed
Hello..
We have samba-ad version 4.18.1 running in our environment. We use
static IP in our environment for all workstations and serves. Samba is
installed on RHEL 8.
Off late, we have been observing that, when we try to access any network
shared resource using their IP address, we get the error "\\x.x.x.x is
not accessible. You might not have permission to use this resource.

[ADS]Trust relationship 'expires'
Hi folks,
I have an issue that has me shaking my head.
Once a workstation has made the initial connection to a host, things
seem to work well for a day or so. However, if the resource hasn't been
accessed in a while, and then a connection is retried, this following
message is returned:
"\\hostname is not accessible. You might not have permission to use this

Samba file indexing for windows workstations
Is there any support in samba for indexing of file searches by windows 7
workstations?
Running a file server for an office and the secretaries keep asking me
why searching in the win7 file manager does not work. Searching online I
see some saying to turn on "offline mode" in windows for the share but
storing 100 + gigs of data on each workstation (as I have read) does not

Trust relationship failed...
I'm hoping someone can give me a hand in figuring out this problem, I have
seen several other similar problems in searching, but nothing that exactly
matches what I am seeing here.
I have recently migrated a client from a Samba server running 2.2.7 (Redhat
9) to 3.0.2 (Fedora 1). The samba installation is running as a PDC for 5
Win XP workstations and was working perfectly prior to the

Win7 pro trust relationship failed
Out of the blue, after working flawlessly for years, I suddenly cannot log
on to my samba 3.5.6 domain with one particular Win7 Pro workstation.
Nothing has apparently changed - Win7 updates applied recently, but I was
able to successfully log on after that. Nothing has changed on the DC.
Error message is that the trust relationship between the workstation and the
primary domain failed.

PDC: "The trust relationship ... failed" from the beginning
Hi,
When I try a net logon from Windows 7 64-bit Business (don't have any
other Windows machines), I get "The trust relationship between this
workstation and the primary domain failed". The discussion I've found
around the Web regarding this error message seems to be only in the
context of the 30 day password expiry issue, where the solution is to
simply rejoin the domain.

Trust relationship between workstation & server

On Windows 7 or 10 Domain Members facing I am a issue that is when
logging into Domain, an error "Trust relationship between this
Workstation & Server failed". I have remove the PC from the Domain and

Handling a relationship between users and newsletter subcriptions.
Hey Everyone!
I have a newsletter system that contains a multitude of different
newsletters. In this case three but the system allows the user to
add more. Every user can be subscribed to any amount of given
newsletters. So what I did was I created a user model, newsletter
model, and subscription model.
The subscription model belongs to one user and one newsletter.

samba-3.6.23-30.el6_7.x86_64 - The trust relationship between this workstation and the primary domain failed
Hi All,
I am running Samba 3.6 in PDC mode (i know, i know...AD upgrade is in the
works).
The most recent update for CentOS 6 (samba-3.6.23-30.el6_7.x86_64) appears
to have caused issues and I was forced to downgrade back
to samba-3.6.23-25.el6_7.x86_64.
When 3.6.23-30 is installed, users running Windows 7 x64 receive the
following error when trying access shares:

Possible alternate solution to "Trust relationship between this workstation...."
All:
On various occasions, some users have posted questions regarding the
situation in which their Vista clients are unable to log on to their Samba
PDC from their workstations, receiving the "The trust relationship between
this workstation and the primary domain has failed" message. Ordinarily, the
solution I have seen for this issue is to remove the machine from the domain
and rejoin

trust relationship fails
Hi,
So I have this samba file server, samba-3.0.10-1.4E.9 to be exact, that
is a member of an NT 4 domain. It usually works great for days and
days. But every now and again clients will start getting this message:
The trust relationship between this workstation and the primary domain
failed.
At that point I've simply removed the server from the domain and
re-added it, and then things start
