Installing openmpi & lam for use with R
I am trying to install the R package "Rmpi" which needs libmpi. Problem installing Rmpi with lam on SGI SLES9
Hi, I've been trying here to install Rmpi on an SGI IA-64 machine with 64 processors, running SuSE Linux Enterprise Server 9, R 2.4.0 and lam-mpi 7.1.3. While I've read of similar problems on this list, I think I've got an entirely new set of error messages to contribute (see below). SAMBA LDAP PDC - LAM LDAP ACCOUNT MANAGER

Installing Rmpi on FC5 with lam
After several trial and error attempts, I managed to install the Rmpi package without error on my Linux machine, running Fedora 5. I installed lam-7.1.2, lam-devel-7.1.2 and R-2.4.1, R-devel-2.4.1 The Package Rmpi_5.0-3.tar.gz, I installed once from within R and once from the command line to make sure, I link the right libraries: R CMD INSTALL Rmpi_5.0-3.tar.gz

Im wondering why your log below shows this order, i just noticed. Why is the computer tring to set the A records 2 x. Lines 1-13, show a successfull commit of the A/AAAA records. I need to do a simple query, against some LDAP data in 'laster draft schema' format i've added to te samba/AD schema. NTP strangeness...
In our network we found some client with clock differences. Some machine have effectively some troubles, eg have NO 'Windows Time' service defined, probably some glitches happened when moving from our old NT-like domain.
