Hi Rowland,

What do you think about that config for the share FTPFiles ?
Does it has some directives you would remove ?

Share access problem
Hi again,
Thanks.
Now, please see my smb.conf and my testparm. ;)
smb.conf
https://pastebin.com/WR2CY9SW
testparm
https://pastebin.com/2jMDtWs2
And yes, if I do getent passwd boubou, I have a good answer.
I paste the output in the testparm link.
If I type \\FILESRV on my PC,
credentials are asked,
I can see the share FTPFiles and boubou but I cant browse or display the content. Why ?

I search A LOT before post here but I didn't find a right answer.
I can list Samba shares on a server but I CANT access the content (view, read or write).
Here is my complete config with debug steps.

Share access problem
Good morning Rowland,
I agree, the user boubou is a local user and an AD user too.
If I use another user, vakjak:
# getent passwd vakjak
vakjak:*:11049:10004::/home/DOMAIN:/bin/bash
I got that output so I bet its right.
How can I login with a login name as Sebastien[space]Boulianne on Samba ?
Thanks!
Sébastien

Hi Rowland,
I tried that but it didn't work.
I can list all users using wbinfo -u but it didn't work if I do getent passwd <samaccountname>.
Do you have any clues ?
Thanks.
Sébastien

setting up a dedicated NIC for replication
Hi all,
I evaluate Glusterfs for storing virtual machines (KVM).
I am looking for how configuring a dedicated network (vlan) for Gluster's replication.
Because the configuration is based on only one DNS name, I don't know how to configure Gluster's nodes in order to:
- Use production network, for hypervisors communications
- Use replicated/heartbeat

Okay, no one had any idea concerning my Radmin question, which I still

Strange issue with share access on domain controllers
Hi,
No change
According to netbios aliases documentation, it only modify NETBIOS
announce, but I'm using DNS to access the host (and it is correctly
resolved since smbclient access works, shares list works on windows)
