deploying class *only* via puppet kick
I''m trying to set up a system in which the web devs can deploy new websites via puppet kick. I''m not having a problem with puppet kick itself, but rather figuring out how to make my "webserver::sitelist" class *only* get deployed via puppet kick, and not have it regularly evaluated in the nodes.pp file. I don''t want webserver::sitelist to ever get

Hai, The steps shown here dont work? https://wiki.samba.org/index.php/Demoting_a_Samba_AD_DC If that is the case and you besides that free of errors. Then upgrade, and try again once your on at least samba 4.9 or 4.10. As im hoping you are upgrade straight to Buster. Removed a DC but...
samba-tool dbcheck --cross-ncs --fix Yes, should be possible, but i normaly do that after i do the following. search for : CN=58eba604-07e5-4c5d-a104-9e6f4907248f And CN=16b8c008-6c59-4b65-9f1b-530751904a75 In _msdc.dom.tld. Verify which GUID is removed, you can see that, then remove the old server GUID. Run : dig CNAME 58eba604-07e5-4c5d-a104-9e6f4907248f._msdcs.ad.fvg.lnf.it dig CNAME

Getting Mailman Running
On a CentOS 4 box, I'm trying to get Mailman running. I found the apache conf file in /etc/httpd/conf.d and set the servername in that. When I try to go there, I get a 500 internal server error.. when I try to start Mailman, I get Starting mailman: Site list is missing: mailman I've never run Mailman before.. looked in the /etc/mailman/sitelist.cfg.. don't see anything in there

Random "File Not Found" errors Using Samba, Works on NetApp
I am experiencing a strange problem where I am randomly getting "file not found" error messages on a Samba share when they are accessed via a series of tcl scripts running from a Win2K server. Some of the scripts are located on the 2K server and some reside on the Samba share. Unfortunately, this is a third party application and I do not know enough tcl to usefully troubleshoot it from
