[LLVMdev] C Backend Ressurected
Hi All, 2 of my summer interns (Aimee Dipietro and Greg Simpson) used their time over the summer to resurrect the LLVM C Backend: https://github.com/draperlaboratory/llvm-cbe Improvements include recovery of simple for/while loops (instead of goto), better variable naming, inline asm support, and making it work on a more recent version of llvm. I believe they used the repository here as a

Migrating samba AD DC from 4.1.0 to 4.7.0 and dns backend change
Hi, We are in the process of migrating our samba AD (4.1.0pre1-GIT-6be458d) to the latest 4.7.0 release. In the process we want to switch from the BIND_DLZ to the internal dns server. I have done some experiments in our test environment and everything seems to work ok, but I'm not sure how to handle the dns backend change. Is it just the case of running samba_upgradedns

People who have reported compilation failures with gcc 4.7.0 - what is the version of binutils that goes along with it? There has been a very serious bug uncovered in binutils 2.22.52.0.[12] which probably affects Syslinux... -hpa -- H. Peter Anvin, Intel Open Source Technology Center I work for Intel. Replication issue (maybe due to 4.7.0 bug?)
Hi Andrew, Thank you for your answer. The issue is in the source or destination ? Because meanwhile I noticed the destination server was on 4.6.11 and not 4.7.3 as the source. What do you think about it ? Thanks ----- Mail original ----- De: "Andrew Bartlett" <abartlet at samba.org> À: "Gaetan SLONGO" <gslongo at it-optics.com> Cc: samba at
