Hai, Sorry for all delays, it was needed. I have also restructured the repo setup a bit, so package re-use is better which saved me some time. This resulted in a samba 4.8 for jessie, no need for multiple repo lines anymore. You choose the samba you want to run and you stay at that version until you change the repo. The site info isnt updated yet with this, i'll do that after i finish

For the 4.8.5 anything with winbind because there was a location change in the krb5_locator (Winbind krb5 locator, to usr/lib/*/krb5/plugins/winbind) ( was bugzilla nr 13489 ) Im deploying now a to my production, sofar i dont any seen problem. hai, ? To explain this a bit more. All my repo's are set per os and samba version. So as long you dont change the sambaXXX version, you stay on that version and minimze risk with changes in samba. Its always :? http://apt.van-belle.nl/debian? And all you change is :??? buster-samba412? Current available versions are : stretch-samba410 stretch-samba411 buster-samba411 buster-samba412

Well, what i can say is. The Resolving inconsistant on DC with AD backend. GID 100 and 10000 is only on the DC's. My member servers are all checked now, ( 4.5.8 4.5.14 4.6.5 4.6.7 4.6.8 ) these are consistant. The sort solution is, run on the DC: net cache flush And check again for example with getent passwd username or id username And dont touch the DC, after an upgrade, again run :
