ifcpu64.c32 not working properly when used in a menu include file
The following is a pxelinux problem, specifically to do with including config files with the menu include directive and the ifcpu64.c32 com module. I have a working ifcpu64.c32 setup that jumps to the label rescue64 in the case of a 64-bit CPU. The label "rescue64" defines a 64-bit kernel and a 64-bit initrd.img. The setup jumps to a label named "rescue32" in the case of a

Live linux booting
I have a need to have a live Linux (Debian or sysrescued ) to boot off a hard-drive so that the hard-drive ends up umounted after boot. (for running partimage ). I've gone down the memdisk iso route and read about the issues there - I've seen a way to do this by mounting over nfs (messy) - but I want to do this without the network. I'm thinking that there should be a way to loop

SHIFT+F10 behaving strangely after moving to 3.2 from 3.1
Since upgrading to 3.2.1 from 3.1.2 (both Debian produced packages from Lenny), I can no longer use SHIFT+F10 to open up a command line screen under Windows when doing an install. It appears that only the F10 key is reaching the DOM0, not the shift key. Shift otherwise works fine, exception in combination with F10... I''m using ''VNC Viewer Free Edition 4.1.2'' from

HDL F10 brazilian doorbell device + TDM2400
Hi, I'm trying to connect an HDL F10 device for a friend living in Brazil to the TDM2400 on his Asterisk server. That device should behave like a normal doorbell and it is if connected to an analog PBX. I connected to the TDM2400 and everything works fine except for one thing: when the called party hangs up his phone, the F10 HDL device does not hang up. I'm not brazilian and not

vesamenu.c32 broken? blame F10?
Hello, vesamenu.c32 from syslinux-3.75.tar.bz2 is broken in my tests with: - qemu 0.9.1 -cdrom iso_image - qemu 0.9.1 -cdrom iso_image -std-vga - virtualbox 2.2.0 (Sun version) It blocks right after showing the copyright notice. I've since compiled the following versions in my machine, running Fedora 10: - syslinux-3.63 - syslinux-3.72 - syslinux-3.73 - syslinux-3.75-143-g080bf56 I did a

Prog running in Wine OK but needs Alt+F10 to maximise.
Hi I've got 'WriteOutloud' (talking wordprocessor for dyslexic children) working pretty well on an Asus Eeepc (Xandros) and on an Acer Aspire One (Kuki Linux) I'm using Wine 1.0.1 on both machines. What happens is that the prog starts up normally then immediately minimises to the taskbar. To make it run fullscreen you have to click on it and press Alt+F10 Although not a serious

A HowTo guide?
I've very new to this... what I want to achieve, is to have my clients network boot - and then be presented with a menu, allowing them *well, me* to choose what to do. Maybe, boot from the main hard disk, or boot a disk image from a samba share, or maybe even boot a CD image, instead of having the actual CD in the drive. Also, I would want to be able to change this menu, without actually

runs of heads when flipping a coin
Can someone recommend a method to answer the following type of question: Suppose I have a coin with a probability hhh of coming up heads (and 1-hhh of coming up tails) I plan on flipping the coin nnn times (for example, nnn = 500) What is the expected probability or frequency of a run of rrr heads* during the nnn=500 coin flips? Moreover, I would probably (excuse the pun) want the answer for a

Re: Fw: Install problems on fresh F10
I did post to ovirt-devel but I am not a registered user, so a moderator need to review my posting before it becomes available. I will register, but right now I only have a few seconds to spare. I try to add use "Add Virtual Machine" but the "Storage" is empty. My iSCSI and NFS storage says "State: pending_setup". What am I doing wrong? Sincerely, /bs66
