Mine has been working well, but the only problem is that it doesn't support callerid (from the POTS side). > -----Original Message----- > From: John Schmerold [mailto:john@katy.com] > Sent: Tuesday, 5 August 2003 12:37 PM > To: asterisk-users@lists.digium.com > Subject: Re: [Asterisk-Users] Zhone Zplex 10 units > > Thanks for the Zplex heads up. > > Steven

CryptoLocker
For a CryptoLocker infection to be successful, a few things must be occur including: 1) No backup 2) Many files need to be encrypted Has anyone developed a Samba plugin to prevent successful CryptoLocker infections by shutting down Samba when an unusual number of data files are modified by a specific workstation? This type of utility would have many security applications, for example

Samba is having babies
This is normal. Samba spawns 1 smbd plus 1 for each connected client. If it concerns you that these hang around you can set the deadtime parameter in smb.conf to limit the time they remain live. The default is deadtime=0 which means no automatic termination of unused connections. Set this to the number of minutes to wait before disconnecting an idle connection. I use deadtime=10 on a server

SAMBA / LDAP / Domain Password change problem
I have our Samba server mostly working, however it will not allow me to change the password on the client desktop or via USRMGR. The error message we are getting is "the system cannot change your password now because the domain TOPC is not available". USRMGR reports "Could no find domain controller for this domain" Everything is authenticating properly. Any ideas? I'm

How to assign Administrator's rights?
Most of my users (unfortunately me included) need to use a bloated, badly designed piece of sh^Hoftware that only works with administrator's rights (I won't say names but it's from a big german company strongly pushing for software patents). How can I assign those users Administrator's rights without phisically going to each machine? I cold put them in the 'Domain

We are not much off. But you have mixed "samba/window" and "windows/windows" settings. Samba/windows \\%logonserver%\home\%username%\desktop Windows/windows \\hostname.fqdn.tld\users\%username%\desktop Guess, which one i use. ;-) Now, do get where this is coming from. So use this (add CNAME for you member server ), Note, you MUST setup PTR records.

df reports wrong full capacity for distributed volumes (Glusterfs 3.12.6-1)
Hi Nithya, My initial setup was composed of 2 similar nodes: stor1data and stor2data. A month ago I expanded both volumes with a new node: stor3data (2 bricks per volume). Of course, then to add the new peer with the bricks I did the 'balance force' operation. This task finished successfully (you can see info below) and number of files on the 3 nodes were very similar . For volumedisk1 I

Hi Jose, There is a known issue with gluster 3.12.x builds (see [1]) so you may be running into this. The "shared-brick-count" values seem fine on stor1. Please send us "grep -n "share" /var/lib/glusterd/vols/volumedisk1/*" results for the other nodes so we can check if they are the cause. df reports wrong full capacity for distributed volumes (Glusterfs 3.12.6-1)
Hi, Some days ago all my glusterfs configuration was working fine. Today I realized that the total size reported by df command was changed and is smaller than the aggregated capacity of all the bricks in the volume. I checked that all the volumes status are fine, all the glusterd daemons are running, there is no error in logs, however df shows a bad total size. My configuration for one volume:

winbind trust account password management
I'm running Samba v4.4.4 as a domain member server in security=domain mode. Our 3 domain controllers are Server 2012r2. Every 3-4 days, I see log messages from winbind saying "winbind_samlogon_retry_loop: sam_logon returned ACCESS_DENIED". Sometimes this corresponds to a trust password change, but not always. Today, new connections to Samba were failing with the error

Upgrading from Gluster 3.8 to 3.12
Hi, I have a cluster of 10 servers all running Fedora 24 along with Gluster 3.8. I'm planning on doing rolling upgrades to Fedora 27 with Gluster 3.12. I saw the documentation and did some testing but I would like to run my plan through some (more?) educated minds. The current setup is: Volume Name: vol0 Distributed-Replicate Number of Bricks: 2 x (2 + 1) = 6 Bricks: Brick1:
