libsmbclient conflict problem
Hi,
I have a c-6 machine that I noticed the following on:
(bugs pts10) # package-cleanup --problems
Loaded plugins: fastestmirror, priorities, refresh-packagekit
Package system-config-printer-libs-1.1.16-26.el6.x86_64 requires libsmbclient.so.0()(64bit)
Package kdebase-runtime-libs-4.3.4-9.el6.x86_64 requires libsmbclient.so.0()(64bit)
So then I ran:
(bugs pts10) # yum install libsmbclient

"net time" cannot connect to Windows 10 Pro computer
Hi,
I have a script that uses /usr/bin/net time -S hostmachine to sync time
with a host computer. I recently upgraded the host computer from Win 7
to Win 10 x64 Pro (latest patches). I'm using samba as supplied in
Ubuntu 18LTS.
I've noticed that now /usr/bin/net time -S hostmachine is returning

Samba - slow performance
Hello,
We have a small setup where we write files on a Windows system to a
samba mounted location coming from a linux system. This linux system
has NVME disks and 10gige connections. We are getting slow write
performance and our setup should be able to get better write speeds.
I am attaching our config files and hoping someone can assist with
tuning our smb.conf for getting better performance:

Thank you, I should have been more specific, I was actually looking for the newer versions at <
http://www.sernet.de/en/samba>? referenced in the wiki about additional repositories at <https://wiki.centos.org/PatrickDGarvey/AdditionalResources/Repositories>.? The sernet site was easy to navigate in English before, but i can't make heads or tails of it now.? i should also mention
