Hello, here are the google logs.
*[2019-08-05 17:04:31,544+0200] [SwingWorker-pool-1-thread-2] [ERROR]
[plugin.ldap.AbstractLdapHandler] Failed to execute query because the

Are there any interesting logs on the samba side? Where can I find them?
Thanks

Configuration help
Hello everyone,
I was able to successfully install and test Samba AD.
But I'm having a problem with Google Cloud Directory Sync. In fact, I want
my AD users to be automatically created on gsuite. When I configure my
settings in GCDS, it does not seem to find my DN base.
I did a lot of tests with Google support and they talked about an
authentication security level issue. Have you ever had

pwdLastSet, password required to change (samba vs MSAD)
Hi,
We are using keycloak with our samba-4.4.4 AD environment. (an ldaps
client application)
Keycloak is able to ask users to change their passwords, when the
checkbox "require password change upon next logon" is set in ADUC.
However, in our environment (samba-4.4.4) keycloak simply refuses the
logons when tht checkbox is set. ("bad username or password")

Problem with AD DC
I’ve just set up an AD DC on Ubuntu 16.04, using the instructions found at
https://jimshaver.net/2016/05/30/setting-up-an-active-directory-domain-controller-using-samba-4-on-ubuntu-16-04/.
All the tests work fine. I’m able to connect from my Windows 10 box when I
connect to \\servername <file://servername> (and authenticate as
administrator).
However, when I try to join the machine to the

All the products of common factors
This is a seemingly simple problem - hopefully someone can help.
Problem: we have two integers. We want (1) all the common factors, and
(2) all the possible products of these factors. We know how to get (1),
but can't figure out a general way to get (2).
Example: 40 and 80 have these factors: c(1,2,2,2,5) and c(1,2,2,2,2,5).
We can use match() to get the common factors c(1,2,2,2,5). What

Thank you for your reply. This was not a random link I followed. I have
reviewed the Samba documentation at
https://wiki.samba.org/index.php/Setting_up_Samba_as_an_Active_Directory_Domain_Controller,
and all the testing that is listed there results in correct and expected
answers... I had already noted the /etc/hosts situation, which interestingly
does not change the answers I get in testing

And a very interesting one at that. I'm glad to see someone has taken
on some of the ADFS capability I hear folks ask for regularly.

Server 2012 functional level for Samba v4.6?
Hallo,
there is not much happening on this topic in mailing list, so I hope
there is a base to revive this old thread. I see that Samba is making
great progress, but as usually, it is hard to keep up with Microsoft
changes.
So far, Samba supports 2008 R2 DFL, and has only experimental support
for 2012 R2 DFL. However, the demand for DFL 2012 R2 will be rising
considerably I think, since

Java Problems
Hi. This post follows on from:
http://lists.xensource.com/archives/html/xen-devel/2005-04/msg00185.html
And is possibly related to the bug referenced here:
http://bugs.sun.com/bugdatabase/view_bug.do;:YfiG?bug_id=4335360
In summary: Java processes are doing odd things.
1) It appears that number values are mysteriously changing. e.g. if you
look at the Hashtable error there is no way the
