Samba 4.5.2, 4.5.3, 4.5.4 as secondary DC to Windows 2008 R2
Dear All, I am running a two location SOHO network with a Microsoft AD on a Windows 2008 R2 server. The only secondary DC is a Microsoft HyperV VM running on the same Windows machine. My aim is to become more independent from Microsoft products. Nevertheless, I need to upgrade my server to Windows 2016 sometime soon - which does not mean that the DC level needs to be upgraded to Server 2016

Live Disk Backup
Dear All, using CentOS 7.2.1511, and libvirt from ovirt repositories (currently 1.2.17-13.el7_2.5, but without otherwise using ovirt) I am regularly backing up my VMs which are on qcow2 files. In general, I am trying to follow http://wiki.libvirt.org/page/Live-disk-backup-with-active-blockcommit A typical backup script would be #!/bin/bash dt=`date +%y%m%d` if virsh dominfo dockers10a | grep

VM locking
Dear All, I am trying to use VM (disk) locking on a two node Centos 7 KVM cluster. Unfortunately, I am not successful. Using virtlockd (https://libvirt.org/locking-lockd.html), I get each host to write the zero length file with a hashed filename to the shared folder specified. Regardless of which host I start a VM (domain) on, they do produce the identical filename per VM. What does not work,

Duplicate mails with pop3 + dsync replication
Hi, When I enable (and it only happens when it is actually running) replication over TCP my users get duplicate mails via pop3. Here?s what happens: * User gets mail * Mail appears in (Maildir) new/ folder on both replicas * user retrieves mail (retr), calls dele. Mail still exists in new/ folder on both replicas. * user runs retr (and gets the duplicate) and dele a second time, the mail is

Fwd: col.axis
I need a help in the following code. I could not find any hint at the help files m <- c( 58, 47, 51, 57, 48) plot(1:5, m, pch=19, col=1:5, axes=FALSE) axis(1, at=1:length(m), labels=LETTERS[1:5], col.axis=2) The labels A B C D E appear in this case with the red color. What I really want is that thay get the same color as the circles, but if I try the line axis(1, at=1:length(m),

Inverse plot colors?
Hi, I'm looking for a way to get white boxplots on a black background. The following is insufficient because although the box is white, I can't figure out how to change the whisker color to white. x <- rnorm(100) par(bg = "black") boxplot(x) boxplot(x, col = "white", notch=T) Is there no way to specify inverse colors and then not change background etc.? I'm

how to create automatically names for vectors in a loop?
Hi, I want to generate a number of vectors and store them with different names, like this: x=1 while (x<100) { vector#x# = rnorm(100) x=x+1 } where each vector has, at its hand, instead of #x# a number which goes from 1 to 99. How can I do this? Thanks Gabriele Zoppoli, MD Ph.D. Fellow, Experimental and Clinical Oncology and Hematology, University of Genova, Genova, Italy Guest

GPO issues - getting SYSVOL cleaned up again
new thread, old issue been fiddling off-list with tips from Louis over the last days, and putting it back to the list to ask for help from others: 2 samba-4.9.11 DCs 1 samba-4.8.12 DM file server GPOs not working cleanly anymore tried to resync completely etc etc - right now I test gpupdate/gpresult on an older (not productive) W2008R2 server which I use for editing stuff via RSAT/MMC I

Duplicate mails with pop3 + dsync replication
FWIW I just tried the sdbox mailbox format for a singe user (not the whole installation) by overriding the mail-userattr via ldap and the problem persists, so I don?t think it?s an issue with maildir per se, but rather a pop3 / replication issue or a misconfiguration on my side. One more i found is : http://www.edugeek.net/forums/windows-7/145171-event-id-1053-group-policy.html But i dont expect that to be your problem, just do checkit. And review these steps https://www.dell.com/support/article/nl/nl/nldhs1/sln163816/troubleshooting-group-policy-processing-errors-in-an-active-directory-domain?lang=en I can type it all, but then you get more typo's ;-) Above

Duplicate mails with pop3 + dsync replication
