For the 4.8.5 anything with winbind because there was a location change in the krb5_locator (Winbind krb5 locator, to usr/lib/*/krb5/plugins/winbind) ( was bugzilla nr 13489 ) Im deploying now a to my production, sofar i dont any seen problem. Hai,   There are some changes in samba 4.8.5 and before i release these packages i've put them in the jessie-experimental line. This is a copy of the jessie-samba48 but with the following added packages.   Added packages : liblmdb-dev 0.9.18-5.1~deb8 these are needed to build ldb 1.3.6   The important changes are ( from changelogs ).   TDB (1.3.6) :  Bump build-dependencies to liblmdb-dev

Hai,   I backported the debian testing 4.5.8 for jessie and updated my repo. I remove all 4.6.0 packages and all package below 4.5.7 due to the CVE for the download site.   I also remove the 4.6.1 and 4.6.2 packages due to the found regression bug. These packages are not usable with a new install, but are when you perform an upgrade. Primary is that the keytab file is already present.

Did the first test on two different servers both are running debian wheezy and packported samba packages. On the server still running 4.6.2 it worked without problems to add the first available printer driver (Brother-DCP116C). On the other server already running 4.6.3 it faile with the error you and marc described. So I downgraded this server to 4.6.2 but i still get the error. Am
