Vulnerability in Elm-ME+
Hello, I have confirmed that the recently-reported vulnerability in Elm is also present in Elm-ME+ and thus also in Debian GNU/Linux version 1.2, prerelease version 1.3, and development tree "unstable". Below is a short diff to correct the problem. Debian GNU/Linux 1.2.x uses stock Elm 2.4pl25. Users of that version of Elm should upgrade to Elm-ME+ as detailed below. Debian 1.3

Sorting alphanumerically
I'm trying to sort a DATAFRAME by a column "ID" that contains alphanumeric data. Specifically,"ID" contains integers all preceeded by the character "g" as in: g1, g6, g3, g19, g100, g2, g39 I am using the following code: DATAFRAME=DATAFRAME[order(DATAFRAME1$ID),] and was hoping it would sort the dataframe by ID in the following manner g1, g2, g3, g6, g19,

IMAP Authentication
Does anyone have any experience using an IMAP server to authenticate Samba users? The idea is to control viability and read/write access to file/print services using an Internal only email server. Thanks, John

dear samba community, we have a big problem on joining a Samba 3.5.6 PDC. Hopefully anyone has an idea/suggestion. win7 domain pc to standalone samba server
I'm trying to map a network drive using my workplace's Win7 laptop to a fileserver at home. The Win7 laptop is joined to the work domain. The fileserver is my own standalone fileserver, not joined to any domain, and is configured to be accessible to everyone without authentcation. I'm not able to get this to work, with varying error messages from Windows ("The account is not

I've searching the archives for 2 hours and cannot find somebody else with the same problem, so please don't kill me if this is a stupid question.. I instaled a Centos 5 Machine with the Samba3x packages of samba and winbind and joined it to a 2003 AD server domain. Do far, so good. wbinfo -t works wbinfo -u, -g works getent passwd and group also work. buuuuuuuuuuuut, groups are missing

winbind and getent group
Hi, I'm having trouble to let "getent group" show the members of the group. The command is just listing the group name and gid but no members. So does "wbinfo --group-info". Is there some trick to do? "getent passwd" shows correct group memberships. smb.conf [global]     netbios name = hostname     security = ADS     workgroup = D1     realm =

I recently change idmap config... ( add rid backend ) Here is my smb.conf :

Puppet 3.3.1: custom function change requires restart of puppetmaster
Hi! I''ve spent quite a while before I understood that for Puppet to see changes in custom functions'' code Puppetmaster needs to be restarted. Is this a normal behaviour or may be it''s a bug ? -- Best regards, Sergey Arlashin -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Puppet Users" group. Am I right to assume certificate renewal with the same filename requires a dovecot reload/restart
The general answere here is try and see, as you could totally test it on your own. The certificate is read at startup and put in memory for the rest of the execution time. Dovecot won't monitor the file for changes on disk, as this would waste CPU cycles and make dovecot only slower for no reason. The process (or person) that changes the file is responsible to restart dovecot to reload
