But you can upgrade to 4.6.x ;-) Check again and if that problem then still exists, then i think you can better ask this one in the samba-technical list. What is the ldb version your using? You need : 1.1.29 with samba 4.5.7. Error running "samba-tool dbcheck" after going from 4.8.6 to 4.9.2
I just tested Samba 4.9.2 on one of my DCs, previously running version 4.8.6. Can not build Samba 4.7.10
Samba 4.7.10 is unwilling to find my pyldb-util v 1.2.3 Checking for system pyldb-util (>=1.2.3 <=1.2.999) : not found ERROR: System library pyldb-util of version 1.2.3 not found, and bundling disabled Building of Samba 4.7.9 in the same environment works flawlessly. dbcheck - least one mandatory attribute ('fromServer') on entry wasn't specified
Ive recently inherited an old samba installation which was originally migrated from a windows 2003 server. It was running samba 4.2.13 so i upgraded to 4.6.4. LDAP broken after AD DC upgrade from 4.7 to 4.8
