/usr/sbin/samba_dnsupdate: ERROR: Record already exist
Hello!
I am on Debian Testing repo.
I used this:
https://wiki.samba.org/index.php/Setting_up_Samba_as_an_Active_Directory_Domain_Controller
It works, but every 10 minutes it does this:

/usr/sbin/samba_dnsupdate: ERROR: Record already exist
Ciao!
Actual the Bind has no error.
The error is in this:
sambadns_update --verbose
Also in the log, i can see it try to update the sambadns_update.
Why does it does sambadns_update when it is already in bind9 via DLZ? And
it works!

Back to 3.0.1, Winbind and Solaris 9
I've gone back to 3.0.1 to try and get winbind to work with my Solaris 9
machine and NT4 domain. Everything works except user authentication. The
wbinfo and getent commands do what they are supposed to.
I've included a truss of 'su - ganguly'
According to pamlog, the user 'ganguly' has been granted access but it is
still hanging.
How do I do a truss of a telnet login?

Where is the named files?? You mean the zone/patrikx3.tk?

How can I add in other in the patrikx3.tk

samba dlz. bind9 nslookup is wrong
... From your output below..

Then tell uss, why are 3 lines uncommented?
I suggest, run :

Anonimize it where needed, and show me your server setup.

High CPU usage
Hi Jean-Marc,
I recompiled with FIXED_POINT and CPU utilization stays below 4%. This is a great improvement.
So how can I fix this to work with floating point ?
Thanks.

High CPU usage
Hi,
I have a curious problem with speex. As long as I'm talking, it takes about 2-5% of my CPU. This seems ok.
But as soon as I stop talking, CPU utilization rises to about 30-45% and stays there until I start talking again.
I compiled speex from source and use it with these settings:
- Preprocessor: Denoiser = ON, AGC = ON
- Encoder: ABR = 15000, DTX = 1, Mode = narrowband, Rate = 8000 Hz.

Corrupted index cache file and high CPU usage
I suspect, that dovecot v2.0.16 under Linux (tested on Gentoo 3.0.4
Hardened, Gentoo 3.0.6, Gentoo 3.1.4) causes 100% cpu utilization when
index.cache is broken and doveadm is lanched. Dovecot uses LDAP as the
userdb and provides IMAP and LDA. Because each user has a quota, the
doveadm's expunge functionality is used to get rid of old trashed mail.

High CPU load
Hello,
I'm using dovecot-1.0.b9 on a FreeBSD 6.1 system. Usually we have 6
clients connected to dovecot through IMAPs. These clients are
Thunderbird 1.5 programs. After some hours, one or two processed go up
to 100% WCPU. As an example, this is what I see when I run 'top':
last pid: 5111; load averages: 1.34, 1.82, 1.75 up 13+00:04:09

High CPU usage
Hi Jeff,
Hi Jean-Marc,
I first modified the FPU control word to raise an exception whenever a denormal is used. Then I used the debugger to locate the exceptions and added VERY_SMALLs where they seem to fit well.
Although I got CPU usage as low as 10%, I seriously lack knowledge of how things work inside speex. So just changing some code is not the best idea for me.
My second attempt was to

samba dlz. bind9 nslookup is wrong
what is weird is that i have not changed it for about 2 years, only apt
update, upgrade. no other change, ipv4 and ipv6 address working correctly.
now there is this bug, that i have not changed anything and suddenly, DLZ
generates an unknown not connected , working, live ip4 and ip6.
and all because it tried an nslookup p3x-dc.patrikx3.com that was the
correct for over 2 years.

OK, so it looks a lot like a denorm problem. The issue is basically that
there are filters that decay exponentially, so when the input suddenly
goes to zero, then the filter's output value becomes smaller and
