Hi, we have successfully installed our samba4 AD domain with AD DC, smb file server and Windows/Linux clients in the same subnet. Now we try to add a couple of Windows PCs to the domain that are located in a different subnet. As soon as the AD DC is added as the DNS server on the Windows clients it is no longer possible to resolve ip addresses. In other words, for those PCs DNS is not working.

I am experiencing an issue that my process does not wake out of a select() call when a single character is received in an input file descriptor when running as a VMware guest. Anyone ever experienced this ? I can run tshark and see the character arrive, but my process does not wake up and see that character. Most times it works - but once in a while it does not. I am using a cyberdata "sip paging adapter" and with the Dial(MulticastRTP/basic/IP:port) and with tshark I see the RTP data, my device looks like its accepting the data and I hear a click for my relay on my device so it would seem its accepting the call, however - I hear no audio... we have setup a two level proxy configuration for our zimbra server: [ dovecot 2.2.12 (imap proxy mode) ] V [ nginx (imap proxy mode) ] V [ zimbra imap server] and it does not work ... after tying a login, the connection just hangs and ends after 30 seconds with a timeout. - if I try again rightaway in the same dovecot connection, the login goes though without trouble.
