NT_STATUS_INTERNAL_ERROR and cannot join windows 7 samba4-ad-dc fresh install, get NT_STATUS_INTERNAL_ERROR
This is with -d10, I test in Windows 10 (joining to domain) and same error, "Internal error". One thing, I don't execute the domain provision command because I put all the files created in the old server into the new server, that's metter??? About DNS Updates
Hello, i have samba 4 as AC-DC mode with Bind as DLZ, all work well but, in my server i have 2 NICs, one of them is only to work into a servers network and don't want to be into dns. I remove all the internal ip reference from DNS, but samba always create them again. So how i can tell to samba that ignore that interface and not put it's ip into DNS??

Error with samba update in debian.
The proxy already is into domain "wbinfo -u" returns all users from the AD, the kinit command with -t /etc/squid/PROXY.keytab is working great, but the NTLM phase into the squid log is the same ERROR: Negotiate Authentication validating user. Result: {result=BH, notes={message: NT_STATUS_UNSUCCESSFUL * NT_STATUS_UNSUCCESSFUL; }} are in recent versions some changes about the NTLM or NT

NT_STATUS_INTERNAL_ERROR
Hello, a short history, I am using samba 4 with Debian 9 from the repository, 2 days ago the server was broken, but I was copy all the /var/lib/samba directory to a safe place, then I was installed a new server with the same Debian and samba from repository, and stopped smbd, nmbd and winbind, unmask samba-ad-dc and finally copied all the directory from the old server to the new server and started

NT_STATUS_INTERNAL_ERROR and cannot join windows 7 samba4-ad-dc fresh install, get NT_STATUS_INTERNAL_ERROR
How strange that is, with the old server that does not happen, but with this new server... I thought that as I only copied the /var/lib/samba to the new server, then samba with the samba provision command make something outside the /var/lib/samba (and smb.conf file) that I miss from the old server. ----- Mensaje original ----- De: "samba" <samba at lists.samba.org> Para:

Help: dfree command
Hi folks, I'm trying to use a custom dfree command to have my Samba share reports accurate disk usage, here my dfree script (I pretty much copied it right off the smb.conf man page) #!/bin/sh /bin/df -k $1 | tail -1 | awk '{print $2" "$4}' In smb.conf, I included this line: dfree command = /usr/local/admin/samba-2.2.4/bin/dfree This dfree command is root owned,

dfree command
Hi I'm using SuSE-Linux 7.3, Kernel 2.4.18 with samba 2.2.3a and XFS with quotas The problem is the quotas won't be displayed in Samba. So I've tried to write my own dfree command and add it in smb.conf. dfree.sh: #!/bin/sh used_space=`/usr/bin/quota -u $1 | tail -1 | awk '{print $2}'` quota_space=`/usr/bin/quota -u $1 | tail -1 | awk '{print $4}'`

dfree causing write access problems
Hi I'm having problems with the dfree option on a Solaris 10 fileserver. Specifically: I had 3.0.X on the fileserver and the dfree option worked fine. I upgraded to 3.2.2 and now if dfree is enabled the clients get 1MB reported as the size of the share and when a client tries to right to the system they get told that the filesystem is full. The script output has been tested throughly

DFree and sub-Share "disk" (volume?)
James Wright <12wrigja at gmail.com> 9:56 PM (13 minutes ago) to samba Hi Samba users, I have a Samba server with a single share backed by a ZFS pool / collection of datasets. I can correctly navigate around the share, but the free space reporting within clients is inaccurate for various directories, especially those that are themselves setup as datasets in ZFS and have quota applied to

dfree command in homes section
Hi everyone, we are using custom dfree commands to implement quotas. While these work fine on normal shares, the "dfree command" parameter seems to be ignored in the homes section. Is this correct (and intended)? Hai, Can you post your smb.conf that helps. But you probly forgot to set: ntlm auth = yes and maybe more, a summup: This is the full list: https://wiki.samba.org/index.php/Samba_Features_added/changed_(by_release) The complete history, have a look at the X.x.0 release notes. https://www.samba.org/samba/history/ For the major differences (new features, etc.) Upgrade samba from a : 4.4.x

dfree command...
Hello, I've a little problem with samba 4.5.x on debian stretch. I've shared a folder with a mounted partition and a sub-mounted partition. mount /dev/sdb1 /opt/smb mount /dev/sdc1 /opt/smb/subfolder But on windows only the free size of /dev/sdb1 is reported. So I try to use the "dfree command" directive to give back the full free size of all sub-mounted devices. But it seems
