problem in building an R package
i am trying to build an R package and submit to CRAN.
i am using -

The code above generates 'xxzz' folder.
It seems that I have to manually edit the files generated in xxzz folder (to

ldiskfs-ext4 interoperability question
Our current Lustre servers run the version 1.8.1.1 with the regular ldiskfs.
We are looking to expand our Lustre file system with new servers/storage and upgrade to all the lustre servers to 1.8.4 as well at the same time. We
would like to make use of the ldiskfs-ext4 on the new servers to use larger OSTs.
I just want to confirm the following facts:

G729a and G729 interoperability
Hello!
I am wondering how the differences between G729, G729a, and G729b
effect call bridging and server interoperability. For example, can
one server use the G729 code with another server that uses the G729A
codec?
Also, which version is Asterisk set up to use?
Thanks!

Interoperability between TE412P and Eurotech PRI E1 GSM & CDMA Gateway
Hi,
I am about to purchase an Eurotech PRI E1 GSM & CDMA Gateway to operate
with my Asterisk's TE412P interface.
Anyone here has any experience of having this combination? Any success
or failure stories would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Question about codecs and interoperability with cisco AS5350
Hi all.
I'm going to implement some large Asterisk based solution. Maybe 4-5 PCs with 1-2 E1/T1 trunks on each.
Because some of the traffic will be sended to external VoIP provider, i has some questions
1. Which is the lowest bandwidth consuming codec in Asterisk, which is compatible with Cisco Gateways. Stability is needed too.
2. Have someone allready bulded such a systems and what

video calls - Windows / Linux interoperability ?
I will install Asterisk on my home server, I want to be able to route
video calls, but I need the Windows and Linux clients to be interoperable.
On Linux, it looks like Ekiga is a good candidate. But how about Windows?
Anyone using Kapanga in an Asterisk network that includes Ekiga? Are
these two interoperable?

VMware and samba interoperability patches...
Has any progress been made about integrating the VMware samba-2.2.8a patch?
VMware Inc was generous enough to add their value to this, and I think it's
worth getting in.

MS Exchange - Samba interoperability
Hello,
I'm interested in use cases and experiences related with Samba and MS
Exchange interoperability. In particular, my situation is as follows: Samba3
domain (domain A) and Windows NT4 (domain B) with mutual trust relationship
(A trust B and B trust A).
MS Exchange Server is running in a server of domain B and I want to create
mailboxes in the Exchange Server for users in domain A. This

Samba <-> Vista RTM interoperability issue
Hi List!
We've run into interesting problem with Samba and Vista.
In short - there's a Samba server sharing NFS connection. What is shared is the NFS link mounted somewhere in root (say /nfspath) and [homes] which is in fact /nfspath/some/dir. And the problem is that Vista client can write a file onto the share using \\sambaserver\homes\dir notation, but cannot do it using

Request for Comments: Interoperability Paper
To save posting a large text document to the list, here's the
paper in html on a public web site:
http://www.geocities.com/orville_torpid/papers/interoperability.html
The paper is nominally about PC NetLink (I work of Sun),
but it's really about the interoperability of most of the
current SMB programs.
Comments, suggestions and brickbats happily accepted!

Stop right there, I do not know what distro you are using, but if it
was Debian, I would be running the following commands:
apt remove sssd

Question on interoperability with Nouveau
Hi guys again. A homebrew developer (homebrew is custom software made for
the switch using openGL under nouveau) reported to me that 'glGenerateMipmap'
wasn't working on yuzu (Nintendo Switch emulator). I looked into it and I
noticed all the triangle data used by nouveau to render the mipmaps was all
zeroed out, meaning that probably we don't implement the mechanism you guys

2.5.7 vs 2.6.1 interoperability bug
Hi all -
I've got two red hat linux 7.3 systems.
On each i have the redhat-provided 2.5.7 in the standard location,
and a locally built copy of 2.6.1 in /usr/local/pkg.
I'm implementing a remote-backup-to-disk setup.
blakey is the "client" (source of rsync), verve is the "server" (dest

When i take care to match rsync binary versions (2.5.7 on each

Linux to Windows Interoperability
Hello,
Currently using a freely available MS Windows file system driver, Ext2Fsd, to communicate (read/write) with external media formatted EXT3 (Linux volume) from within MS Windows.
Curious to know if Samba is able to support communication (read/write) with external media formatted EXT3 (Linux volume) from within the MS Windows environment?
Looking forward to your reply.
Thanks.
