BIND9_DLZ: TKEY is unacceptable - depending on the name server
Dear Samba experts,
Since a couple of days I am trying to fix my domain.
I have each two ADDCs on raspis on two sites. One is running on Raspian and works fine. The other three are on Gentoo and something is broken there.
When I point the name resolution in resolv.conf to the Raspian machine the dynamic updates are just working fine:
# horus /srv/samba/demoshare # samba_dnsupdate --verbose

Problems with samba 4.3 and Bind_DLZ - ddns not working
Hi
I'm currently testing the replacement of a samba 3 with LDAP backend
with a samba 4 ad-dc.
For this, I have a fresh install of:
- FreeBSD 10.2
- samba 4.3.3
- bind with dlopen-support:
IND 9.10.3-P3 <id:bdaecad>
built by make with '--localstatedir=/var' '--disable-linux-caps'
'--with-dlopen=yes' '--disable-symtable'

named will not start after upgrade of CentOS
Well I may have been over zealous and upgraded my Samba AD server to
CentOS 7.5. After doing so the named service will not start. The error
message I get is:

samba4+bind on centos
Hi all
I've given up on the idea that I can make a script to import our
<domain>-zone into samba internal dns with samba-tool as it gets really
messy with subdomains. Instead I'm now trying to get samba4 to let bind
handle the <domain>-zone as well als dynamic updates and such.
The problem is that once I've started named and samba4 after
provisioning, I try to test

DNS Updates fail with dns_tkey_gssnegotiate: TKEY is unacceptable
Hi,
I have a test system with two DCs based on samba v 4.8.0 with BIND9_DLZ as the
dns backend running on a fresh install of Gentoo. I can't get DNS Updates to
work on both DCs. If I issue the command: samba_dnsupdate --verbose after the
2nd DC has joined the domain I get the errors (just showing the last entry):

Bind9 AD SDLZ driver failed to load
I installed Bind9 on a new ubuntu 13.04 server using
apt-get install bind9
and am trying to integrate AD into it. Bind starts fine and will resolve my
domain and computer names, but when I add the line
include "/usr/local/samba/private/named.conf"
into /etc/bind/named.conf, Bind9 fails to start. I have edited that file
to ensure the correct line is included for Bind 9.9, and I am not

Cannot remove old NS record
Hi All,
A while ago I replaced a Samba AD on old hardware with a another AD on
newer hardware. Everything went smoothly including the demotion of the
old AD. However after I did some cleanup DNS records and turned off the
old hardware I noticed that there still was a NS record associated with
the old AD. So I went to the wiki page

Bind_DLZ krb errors @ startup.
Hi,
I have 2 self compiled samba 4 DCs running 4.7.7 on Centos 7.5. One of them
is operating normally. On the other DC bind will not start. I turned up
debugging on dlz_bind as per
https://wiki.samba.org/index.php/BIND9_DLZ_DNS_Back_End#Debugging_the_BIND9_DLZ_Module
When I try to start named I get the following in the logs:
