invalid NTLMSSP_MIC / SPNEGO login failed: NT_STATUS_INVALID_PARAMETER
Hello, since I upgraded my NT4 domain Samba 4.2.11 to 4.2.14 I can no longer authenticate when I access any share. After that I even upgraded to Samba 4.4.5 but still get the same error: [2016/10/15 04:42:19.786198, 2] ../source3/auth/auth.c:305(auth_check_ntlm_password) check_ntlm_password: authentication for user [xx] -> [xx] -> [xx] succeeded [2016/10/15 04:42:19.789933, 1]

ntlmssp_server_postauth: invalid NTLMSSP_MIC on CTDB fileserver (NT-style domain)
We actrually have the same problem. However, we are running a normal fileserver (also Sernet 4.4.5) no cluster in an NT-Style domain with Centos 5 (Samba 3.6.23) as the DC. IT works OK for some days then just stops. Any idea how to debug? Regards Christian --

problem connecting to shares from Win7 clients - invalid NTLMSSP_MIC
Domain users using Windows 7 systems lose the ability to connect to Samba shares. Some users can connect one day but then lose the ability the next. When the problem starts to occur the log.smbd displays: =============================================== check_ntlm_password: authentication for user [user1] -> [user1] -> [MYDOMAIN\user1] succeeded ntlmssp_server_postauth: invalid

question about contrast in R for multi-factor linear regression models?
Hi all, I am using "lm" to fit some anova factor models with interactions. The default setting for my unordered factors is "treatment". I understand the resultant "lm" coefficients for one factors, but when it comes to the interaction term, I got confused. > options()$contrasts unordered ordered "contr.treatment"

Samba4: use Posix-ACLs only? (ext4 - NFS4+CIFS - Fileserver)
I try to set up a Samba4-based Fileserver in an Samba3-DC enviroment. Filesystem is ext4, CIFS + NFS4 should be provided. The same ACLs should be used over both protocols. With Samba 3 this was possible (using POSIX 1003.1e DRAFT 17 ACLs only) . How can I do the same with Samba 4 ? Posix-ACLs set on the server with setfacl are recogniced on a windows-client. But every change I do on a

plot several histograms with same y-axes scaling using hist()
Dear all Problem: hist()-function, scale = ?percent? I want to generate histograms for changing underlying data. In order to make them comparable, I want to fix the y-axis (vertical-axis) to, e.g., 0%, 10%, 20%, 30% as well as to fix the spaces, too. So the y-axis in each histogram should be identical. Currently, I have 100 histograms and the y-axis scales changes in each. Here is my code:

2 questions on matrix manipulation in R
Hi there, I have two questions on matrix manipulation. For the first one, I want to calculate the product of each column of a matrix (say A) with another vector (say b). That is, if A has 5 columns (a1, a2, a3, a4, a5), I want to obtain a matrix with columns (a1*b, a2*b, aA3*b, a4*b, a5*b). Can I do it directly, without using "for" loop? For the second one, I have a matrix A of

winbind on Solaris 2.5.1 not working.
Ok folks, Here is the deal. I have posted to the news groups several times and gotten not a single thing. I have been trying since march to get 2.2.8a working on sol2.5.1 with winbind to do the authentication but it has failed miserably. Winbindd starts but fails to create the /tmp/.winbindd/pipe file and bombs like a daisycutter. But if I run winbindd like this " truss -aefo /tmp/file

Win2k Domain logons
Hi everyone. I just got a copy of Win2k in and have been messing with it. Have a question, and have searched the archives for the answer, but didn't find it. Can Win2k domain logon to a pre-3.0.0 samba server? Or di I need to get TNG running? I can get NT4.0 boxes to authenticate and login fine (Samba pre-3.0.0), but Win2k keeps complaining: "The following error occurred validating
