No Color, Brothers Printer, Samba/CUPS
Did you add that user to the "domain admins" or an other group.
If an other group, did you set the SePrivileges for that group so its allowed to edit the registry. The "domain admins" group for me has all privileges.
Just tried it out, and no problem here with user Administrator.

No Color, Brothers Printer, Samba/CUPS
Hi,
I had this problem too but it is possible to get it working -
1. Install the printer onto the CUPS server and add it to Samba.
2. Install the printer on a Windows machine and enable the required
features/functionality.
3. Using regedit navigate to the key
"HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Print\Printers\BrotherPrinterNameHere".
4. Right click the key

Samba file sharing without AD network(samba 4.8)
Dear all,
If i write security=domain in smb.conf file, all the ACL problems
disappear. Do you have any config file about file sharing without AD
people?(These people have domain user name and password but their PCs are
out of the domain.)
Could you please send me this file if you have?
Kind regards.

I would appreciate it if you can change the host value in the
/etc/nsswitch.conf file from *hosts:* to *files wins dns * and try
again by restarting the server, since the error occurs whenever I restart
the server.
However, If I change the host value which is *hosts: * in the
/etc/nsswitch.conf file to *files dns wins *and restart the server
everything runs perfectly, when the alignment of

Computer can't access Sysvol
I did have a "usershares" share when I first set the domain up. This has
since been removed. The strange thing is that from my PC (which was the
first to be added to the domain) and from this PC (which was the second)
I can still see the share (and access it from my PC). Seems like there
is some caching going on somewhere. Any idea how it can be cleared?
