Samba-4.3.11 Roaming profiles on FreeBSD10.3
I am unable to get roaming profiles to work. I have turned on debugging and I believe that I have narrowed down where in the log file the problem is reported. However, I do not possess the knowledge necessary to understand what is going on. The situation is that assigning a new user the profile: //DC/PROFILES/%USERNAME% does not produce anything on the DC's filesystem. However, using the

Unable to load roaming profiles samba-4.3 FreeBSD
I am seeing these in smb.log and each time I do it appears that the user in question is unable to retrieve their roaming profile. Does anyone know what is going on and more importantly, how to cure it? . . . Samba-4.3 FreeBSD-10.3 Roaming Profiles and User Home Drive Shares
We have set up a Samba-4.3 AD-DC on a FreeBSD-10.3 BHyve guest configured with UFS stoarge. The samba_server is provisioned and we can join the Domain and configure the server remotely using MMC snap-ins running on a MS Win-v7Pro workstation. We are at the point where we are implementing roaming profiles. We have followed the instructions found at:

Samba 4.3. - Problem with roaming profiles
This problem has several elements but it did not evidence itself until we moved from a MicroSoft AD-DC to a Samba AD-DC. The environment is is a FreeBSD-10.3 Bhyve VM hosted on a 16 core host also running FreeBSD-10.3. The version of Samba is 4.3.11 obtained through FreeBSD ports. The AD clients are all running MSWin7pro patched up-to-date. Roaming profiles are in use. We have an intermittent

samba 4.1 roaming profiles
Dear Mark, It looks like you are trying to do the same as I did. Did you read the thread I had some days ago with subject "How to copy roaming profiles to new server ? ("Group policy client service failed. The logon access is denied")" ? This could help you. Other suggestions : Not sure if [profiles.V2] is still required but maybe you should try to add it ? We also
