After each reboot, my Samba AD member server lost domain join after

CLI History
What's wrong with the Asterisk CLI history? When I exit the CLI, and re-enter, the last command in the history always defaults to 'stop now'. This is very bad, and it's caused accidental shutdowns more than once.

megatec_usb and "fry's" UPS
Gidday all - I've got a 1700VA dynamix UPS which is USB.
The previous model (with a serial port) worked wonderfully with megatec,
but this new one with USB is not working.
It feels like the kernel is not handing the USB device properly.
The web has not yeilded any useful info.
What can I do from here?

problems with smbpasswd in samba-2.0.2+ (repost)
I sent the following message to the list nearly two weeks ago
and didn't receive a single response. In fact, I haven't received
any replies to the last 3-4 questions I have asked (over the
past 6 months). Maybe it is my wording??? I see the messages
in the digest, so I know they are going to the list. :-)
I have no right to complain and only cause to be very happy

Cannot join Ubuntu12.04 Samba 4.1.17 to domain
Hi all
I'm desperate now.
On one of the sites I cannot connect Ubuntu to Windows AD 2003.
Error below.
On exactly the same setup but on a different network and also on VirtualBox
VMs everything works as expected.
Looks like something on the network then or mission parameter.
Error is about KDC but I can successfully do kinit and get ticket.
I can also successfully run:
sudo net ads info

Bug 6870 resurfaced in Samba 4.2.10
Hi,
So I did some digging into the source code, and I think I've found the
issue. Around line 120 of source3/libads/cldap.c:
for (i=0; i<num_servers; i++) {
NTSTATUS status;
status = cldap_socket_init(state->cldap,
NULL, /* local_addr */
state->servers[i],
&state->cldap[i]);
if (tevent_req_nterror(req, status)) {
return tevent_req_post(req, ev);

JIT - Resolve obj file without a main
Hello Lang,
so you are part of the "Jitter-Team"?
I'm really interested in this whole jitting-process. I wanted to know, is
there a way to load other obj-files, than the one created with clang?
Could I load - for example - a obj-File from VisualStudio? Or will the
namemangeling fail?
Kind regards
Björn

Bug 6870 resurfaced in Samba 4.2.10
According to this bugzilla entry, bug 6870 has been fixed as of at least
version 3.5:
https://bugzilla.samba.org/show_bug.cgi?id=6870
However, I assert that it is present in 4.2.10, which ships with Debian
Jessie.
On my home network (IPv4 and IPv6), a box with Samba 4.2.10 with IPv6
disabled (via sysctl), will fail to contact a DC because the IPv6
connect fails immediately before the v4

Best Rails API source
Folks,
Is api.rubyonrails.com the best source for RoR API info? Do any other formats exist, that are easier to navigate/search?
Thanks,

OPUS in embedded platform
Hello,
I am interested in porting OPUS to an embedded platform. The idea is that the encoder and decoder will run on different processors. In order to choose the proper platform, I need an estimate of the resources which are needed for OPUS.
I read the following in the OPUS wiki:
"The Opus code base is written in C89 and should run on the vast majority of recent (and not so recent) CPUs.
