win bind extremely slow after Upgrade to 4.2
Hi,
we have upgrade an Samba Member (DCs already upgraded) from Samba 4.1.17 to Samba 4.2.10.
On DCs work fine after install winbind.
But our member extremely slow.
Connect to the Share takes 2-3 minutes and directory listing need 2-5 minutes.
wbinfo -u takes around 20 seconds and will not return output
wbinfo -g takes 3 seconds and show my groups

Can't access by NetBIOS Aliases or IP Address
Hi all.
I am running Debian jessie server with Samba, which has joined the Active Directory domain. The domain controllers are Windows Server 2012 R2.
After I upgraded Samba version from 4.1.17+dfsg-2+deb8u2 to 4.2.10+dfsg-0+deb8u2, I'm facing the problem that I can't access Samba share by NetBIOS Aliases or IP Address.
The Samba's NetBIOS name is mysamba, and I can access by

AD accounts not available to OS
Hey guys,
I'm setting up a Samba 4 AD DC server on Debian 8 (see pkg list below).
Things are working relatively well except that I'm concerned that the
domain accounts are not available to the OS. ie getent group "Domain
Admins" returns nothing.
I've implemented roaming profiles which is working very well but redirected
folders are not and I'm thinking it's a

AD DC Corrupt recycle bin in redirected folders
Hi everyone,
First off, I really don't know what to provide so please just ask what is
needed. Here's what I think is relevant starting with a brief description:
I have samba4 as AD DC for windows 10 clients. Roaming profiles are on a
share on the DC and are working perfectly. However, redirected folder, also
residing on the DC are not working as expected. I have yet to put my finger

Samba 4 AD member server authentication issues, domain vs. ads security
Thanks for the quick replies.
One domain is at Windows Server 2008 functional level, and the other is
Windows Server 2012 R2. The samba 4 servers are running 4.2.10 and the
samba 3 servers are running 3.6.23, both from rpms available from either
the CentOS 6 or 7 repos (samba 4 on CentOS 7, samba 3 on CentOS 6).
Here's the smb.conf used on the two samba 4 servers:

Winbind Craziness
Hai,
In addition to Rowlands question.
Can you run this script and post it to the list also.
It gives a complete overview of what your running.
Its basicly what Rowland asked, but with a few extra things.
https://raw.githubusercontent.com/thctlo/samba4/master/samba-collect-debug-info.sh
And the output of:
kinit Administrator
klist
klist -ket /var/lib/samba/private/secrets.keytab

Okay I didn't read that. surprised that it should work with the databases as is. The dbcheck function was quite involved when it was run on the 4.5.5. update.
