Error demote
Hi,
during a demote of an online and working DC I receive this error
dsreplicasync failed (8440 'werr_ds_dra_bad_nc')
Any suggestion where could be the issue, server is not really demoted
Server is samba 4.4.5 and other server that has fsmo roles is 4.10.7
Thanks

Failure demote Samba4
Failure demote Samba4
I'm having trouble demote DC a Samba 4. Samba 4.4.4 (Centos 7) was installed from source packages. Promoted it as a secondary DC, a Windows 2008 R2. At the very moment demote him. There is no ROLE or FSMO Samba 4. I'm running the following command:
samba-domain tool demote -Uadministrator
I get this error:

Replication failures
I’m getting errors with replication
Samba 4.9.3 on Ubuntu 16.04
6 Samba DC’s at 3 sites
I recently joined a Win2k8 R2 server to the domain and promoted it to domain controller. The replication was working before that, and not working after.
I didn’t realize the problems and tried to join a Win2012 R2 server and promote to DC as well. That also failed with an error about replication failures.

Error removing Windows DC from AD
Hi,
I'm preparing to move a small business environment away from
Windows-based AD (Windows Server 2012R2, Domain and Forest downgraded to
Win2008R2 level) to Samba. So far in my lab environment joining Samba as
a DC works, including DNS and Sysvol replication.
OS: Debian 9
Samba versions 4.5.12 (Debian repository) and 4.8.2 (latest release
compiled from source), same behavior on both
