Name mangling problem
Hi all, I run samba 3.6.6 from debian wheezy (version 3.6.6) and i am experiencing some troubles with file name mangling. If i try "dir /x" on a mapped folder it gives me unexpected mangled names: the name mangling matches only the first character and not the first 5 as i expect. For example: if the long file name is LONGFILENAME.TXT, i expect the mangled sholud be something like

Issues with acl_xattr module
Hi all, i'm new in this mailing list, i need some help with a problem i experience with my samba setup. I set up a fileserver on top of debian 6 with samba-3.6.6 on an XFS filesystem partition. I tried to use vsf acl_xattr for better windows compatibility and it seems generally working good, but i experience some strange behavior: I added two acls with different restrictions one for a

Loops
Dear Contributors, I am asking help on the way how to solve a problem related to loops for that I always get confused with. I would like to perform the following procedure in a compact way. Consider that p is a matrix composed of 100 rows and three columns. I need to calculate the sum over some rows of each column separately, as follows: fa1<-(colSums(p[1:25,])) fa2<-(colSums(p[26:50,]))

MSP files
I have a .MSP file that has an update to a program I can't run otherwise. How should I open/run this file? msiexec doesn't work. I have searched the documentation and googled for it and couldn't find anything. Patola -- http://linuxfud.org - o TIRA-TEIMA dos ataques ao software livre!

Using model operator in stepwise function's upper scope formula
Hello: I am doing forward stepwise analysis on the glm model. I am trying to use model operator in the "upper" scope formula, for example, scope=list(lower=~1,upper=~ .^2) but the upper bound of the scope seems to be ignored and add1 is not performed at all, while if the terms are explicitly listed in the formula, the step function seems to work

Convert replica 2 to replica 2+1 arbiter
I must ask again, just to be sure. Is what you are proposing definitely supported in v3.8? [LLVMdev] Writing my own debugger... use __builtin_frame_address or is there something better?
Hi LLVM list, Thanks for having me here. I'm writing my own debugger for my (secret) language... I don't know anything about LLVM beyond the general "big picture"... I haven't any real practical experience working with it... beyond just using XCode... So... really the problem is... I'm generating some functions... by "compiling to C"... so my compiler just

[LLVMdev] Work in progress patch to bug 2606
Hi Olivier, Thanks for responding! I get to learn this way. If we go further with this, I'll have to add test cases for lazy mode. I kind

Re-adding an existing brick to a volume
Let me see if I understand this. Remove attrs from the brick and delete the .glusterfs folder. Data stays in place. Add the brick to the volume. Since most of the data is the same as on the actual volume it does not need to be synced, and the heal operation finishes much faster. Do I have this right? Convert replica 2 to replica 2+1 arbiter
Hi! I am using GlusterFS on CentOS7 with glusterfs-3.8.15 RPM version. I currently have a replica 2 running and I would like to get rid of the split-brain problem before it occurs. This is one of the possible solutions. Is it possible to and an arbiter to this volume? I have read in a thread from 2016 that this feature is planned for version 3.8. Is the feature available? If so, could you give

[LLVMdev] Work in progress patch to bug 2606
In thinking about this we could use a Mutex::tryacquire(...) (non-recursive), around JIT::runJITOnFunctionUnlocked(...)'s while loop, and use your JITEmitter:: getLazyFunctionStub(...) suggestion in place of forceEmitFunctionStub(...). Is the lock attempt too heavy, even if it is implemented with atomics? I'll implement this when I have time. Garrison On Feb 17, 2010, at 15:42, Garrison

Convert replica 2 to replica 2+1 arbiter
gluster volume add-brick volname replica 3 arbiter 1 brickhost:brickpath/to/new/arbitervol Yes. The replica 3 looks odd. Somewhere in 3.12 (?) or not until v4 a change in command will happen so it won't count the arbiter as a replica. Re-adding an existing brick to a volume
Hi! I am running a replica 3 volume. On server2 I wanted to move the brick to a new disk. I removed the brick from the volume: gluster volume remove-brick VOLUME rep 2 server2:/gluster/VOLUME/brick0/brick force I unmounted the old brick and mounted the new disk to the same location. I added the empty new brick to the volume: gluster volume add-brick VOLUME rep 3

Re-adding an existing brick to a volume
.gluster and attr already in that folder so it would not connect it as a brick I don't think there is option to "reconnect brick back" what I did many times - delete .gluster and reset attr on the folder, connect the brick and then update those attr. with stat commands example here http://lists.gluster.org/pipermail/gluster-users/2018-January/033352.html Vlad On Sun, Feb 25, 2018

adding factor scores back to an incomplete dataset...
I am sure there is a simple way to do the following, but i haven't been able to find it. I am hoping a merciful soul on R-help could point me in the right direction. I am doing a factor analysis on survey data with missing values. to do this, I run: FA1<-factanal(na.omit(DATA), factors = X, rotation = 'oblimin', scores = 'regression') Now that I have my factors and
