Samba building is broken when some libraries are specified to be built-in to binaries !
Ok.
But to the time in a short term period is there is way to make building
successfull ?
May be some temporal solution ?
One more, I need to build-in to binaries:
libreplace,libwinbind-client,libwbclien, that is
replace,winbind-client,wbclient "targets" while building all regarding
configure options specified below:
--prefix=/usr \

Samba building is broken when some libraries are specified to be built-in to binaries !
I try to build Samba 4.10.10 at Ubuntu 18.04 on x86_64 platform as at
armv7l archtectures from sources.
I need build replace,winbind-client,wbclientto binaries
For that I specify
*--builtin-libraries=replace,winbind-client,wbclien*t,ccan,samba-cluster-support
at configure
But in the case I get time to time, the following errors:

Samba 4.7rc4. (Debian Stretch Amd64 packages/sources available)
Hai,
Can anyone ( one of the devs) tell if its safe for a samba 4.7rc4 to join and samba 4.6(.7) AD DC domain.
Any do/donts, im asking so i can test a DC join, but i want to test in my production even, since that are the best tests.
First test of a clean ADDC install looks ok.
Aand yes, i have already made 3 backups of the DC's, already when i go testing. i can restore quickly. ;-)

Bug#622814: klibc: patch to make klcc play nice with multiarch linux-libc-dev
Package: klibc
Version: 1.5.20-1
Severity: normal

User: ubuntu-devel at lists.ubuntu.com

Hi maks,
Since the Ubuntu linux-libc-dev is now installing its asm headers to the
multiarch /usr/include/<triplet>/ directory to allow co-installability, I've
pushed the attached patch to Ubuntu so klcc knows to include this path when

Missing 'glusterfs.so' in Ubuntu
Hi, guys. I'm new to all of this and need some help with a problem
I've been banging my head against for a while. (Tried
troubleshooting, checking logs, and lots of Googling for a few weeks
now, but just keep hitting dead ends.)
SYMPTOM:
Missing file `/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/samba/vfs/glusterfs.so`, as
evidenced by error messages like these:

compiling samba for ubuntu 12.4 lts
Hi,
I'm trying to create a samba4.0.1-package for ubuntu12.4. It seems
as if I've succeeded to resolve the dependencies and everything is
compiling and linking just fine until it switches to the source4
directory. There I always get these kerberos/heimdal-related linker-errors:

[PATCH 00/12] Bunch of patches for cross-compilatio + RP4
Initially out there as #965245.
I strongly prefer to build ARM64 packages on non-ARM systems. Something
about my main build machine having twice the cores and twice the clock
speed. As such after many builds I've managed to generate a set of
patches which appear to mostly function to get functioning cross-builds
of Xen.
These are NOT a 100% solution. Some packaging hacks were needed. In
