Samba 4 Password Server
Hi friends,
I have installed Samba 4.2.10 on Centos 7 server and Samba 4.3.9 on Ubuntu
16.04 server. I configured the centos7 server as PDC and ubuntu server a
file sharing server.
I want to use centos7 server as a password server of ubuntu 16.04. As i
read in samba docs, i configured the *security *parameter as *domain *and
connected the ubuntu server to centos7's domain with "*net rpc

Samba 4 and Windows 10 Problem.
Hi Daniel,
In that example that I wrote, I didn't create users yet, because I did public share only, but windows tell that I don't have permission. Do I need to create groups and users to that situation too?
But when I add private share, I create local users (add user) and samba user, but when I type user and password Samba answer that I don't have permission too.I think the problem

Are your running more domains on this samba server, this is the primary domain? tplk.loc ?
The settings below looks good, you can try setting ipv4 preffered over ipv6 ( or disable ipv6)
You can try also it with a fixed primary dns suffix.

DNS Suddenly breaking
It's samba internal DNS. Only one DNS zone, and it's domain.domain.tld.
It'll function perfectly, and then cease to function at a random time.

DNS Suddenly breaking
Hi All,
I've got a newly created Samba4 domain. I'm running into a strange issue
where my internal DNS on my first domain controller is "breaking" causing
it to not resolve any external hosts. It'll still resolve internal hosts
without issue. This is only on the first DC, the second DC is running
perfectly fine and can access external hosts without issue.

Hello friends, I come to ask for a hand.
I have an AD server with Samba 4.1 and added a Member Server 4.4 without
problems.
The only problem I'm having is that the UID of users in the Member Server
are different from the AD server.

does anyone know about the status of openchange ?
It sems to me as if the effort and the developping towards greater versions
than samba 4.1 has stopped
or ended .
What about merging openchange code to samba4?

You removed 127.0.1.1 .. ..
So now then, whats wrong here...
