Winbind group cache
Hi All, I have hit a snag with winbind's group caching on AD on one of our client's infrastructure. We have a client that is using AD groups to control ssh access to servers. The client is running a lot of different bugfix and build versions in the 3.6 branch all running on RHEL using rpm's. I have seen this issue cropping up in the ML from time to time and most of the solutions

CentOS 8 apcupsd or nut and duplicity
Hello Again, Is there any update on nut or apcupsd for CentOS 8? Also, I noticed that duplicity is not currently available for CentOS 8. I got the Fedora 30 SRPM for duplicity to build on CentOS, but ran into a dependency issue and cannot find python-devel. Any suggestions on alternatives or how to get duplicity going on CentOS 8? Cheers, Ian P.

SAMBA4 - Trusted relationship lost every Weeks
Hi, Here is our smb.conf. Please note that this server uses nss resolution for DOMAIN_B users and idmap_ldap backend to resolve DOMAIN_A users. Trusted relationship between works well for other services between those two domains. Only samba4 fileserver needs to rejoin DOMAIN_A domain (AD 2008 server) every week. #======================= Global Settings

Upgraing a DC using the 'DC rejoin' method
I used the DC rejoin method as described in the WiKi to upgrade one of my DCs to version 4.11.0. Following the steps, when I came to rejoin the domain, it initially failed, complaining that the DC already existed, but to force the rejoin, remove the files: secrets.ldb and secrets.tdb. I assume you don't demote the DC before the upgrade, as there's no mention of this? Anyway, I

Bug#784880: [PATCH for-4.6] tools: libxl: Handle failure to create qemu dm logfile
If libxl_create_logfile fails for some reason then libxl__create_qemu_logfile previously just carried on and dereferenced the uninitialised logfile.
