smbmount from fstab
I've seen several references to running smbmount from /etc/fstab, but I've
never seen an example. Does anyone have an example fstab entry that does this?
Thanks

How to build with cdr_adaptive_odbc ?
Than you very much.
I use asterisk 14, and yes, menuselect shows me the need for
generic_odbc(E), res_odbc_transaction(M) and ltdl(E)
but what does this imply under debian ?
I have unixodbc installed an tested and too libltdl-dev !
But what am I missing ?

how do you mount mountconf (i.e. 1.6) lustre on your servers?
As any of you using version 1.6 of Lustre knows, Lustre servers can now
be started simply my mounting the devices it is using. Even
an /etc/fstab entry can be used if you can have the mount delayed until
the network is started.
Given this change, you have also notices that we have eliminated the
initscript for Lustre that used to exist for releases prior to 1.6.

problems mounting smbfs
I've spent the last 2 days trying to get smbfs to mount via fstab.
Using redhat 7.3 and the latest samba as of 7/17/02.
I can mount from the command line using smbmount as follows:
smbmount //localhost/wwwshare /smbwww -o username=smbuser,password=xxxxxxxx
I can not mount from the command line using:
mount -t smbfs -o username=smbuser,password=xxxxxxxx //localhost/wwwshare /smbwww

Problems auto-mounting volume under Ubuntu 10.10
Hey all, I'm having problems getting a gluster volume to auto-mount on boot in an Ubuntu 10.10 environment. I can mount it manually just fine.
Strangely I see nothing in the gluster logs or /var/log/messages relating to gluster. My fstab looks like:
192.168.1.202:/test-volume /mnt/test-volume glusterfs defaults,_netdev 0 0
Anyone have any ideas?
Best,

Getting glusterfs to expand volume size to brick size
Hi Nithya,
I'm on Gluster 4.0.1.
I don't think the bricks were smaller before - if they were, maybe 20GB
because Linode's minimum is 20GB, then I extended them to 25GB, resized
with resize2fs as instructed, and rebooted many times over since. Yet,
gluster refuses to see the full disk size.
Here's the status detail output:

internal DNS not forwarding
Hello,
I am trying to setup a samba4 AD dc in my network using smb-tool.
Everything seems to work except DNS forwarding.
If I query for the dc
root at dc:~# nslookup dc.local.domain.it
I get the correct answer:
root at dc:~# nslookup dc
Server:???????? aaa.bbb.ccc.ddd
Address:??????? aaa.bbb.ccc.ddd#53
Name:?? dc.xxxx.yyyy.it
Address: aaa.bbb.ccc.ddd
but if I query for an external domain:

Getting glusterfs to expand volume size to brick size
Ok, it looks like the same problem.
@Amar, this fix is supposed to be in 4.0.1. Is it possible to regenerate
the volfiles to fix this?
Regards,
Nithya

Strange index error on NFS after upgrade to CentOS 7 from 6
Hi,
I'm running 3 Dovecot director and 6 Dovecot backend on CentOS 6 and
Dovecot 2.3.10, with Maildir shared on NFSv3 (on NetApp).
Since CentOS 6 will be EOL on November I started to upgrade to CentOS 7
the first Dovecot backend.
But after Director start to direct users on new CentOS 7 server some
errors, for any users, come up, an example:
