Huge amount of used inode handlers reported by sar -v (inode-sz)
Any help with this problem would be very much appreciated (even "it's not
7.3 or ext3 pointers, look somewhere else").
I've seen a similar post to ext3-users, but since that one received no reply
and I'm not convinced it's a ext3 problem (it only appears on our 7.3 hosts)
, I'm CCing to the valhalla list.
We have the same problem on ALL our Redhat 7.3 machines

Wine WMF vulnerability?
Hi,
I recently read about that Wine is vulnerable against the WMF bug
that was recently closed on Windows. Is it really true?
Is Wine really as bug-for-bug compatible with Windows? :-)

Hierarchical glm
Hi all,
I'm not sure how to correctly analyse the following data with glm, and
hope for some advice from this list, ideally showing how to specify the
model in R and perform the tests, and also for suggestions of literature.
The data structure is like this:
- 20 plant populations were investigated (random factor pop), which
belong to different habitat types (factor ht)
- Within

Creating a simple line graph
Hey everyone,
Sorry for yet another simple question but hopefully it makes whoever
comes up with the answer feel good about helping others. I would like to
simply plot the following two sets of data in a line graph. The one set is
an observed set of points and the latter is the predicted. I have looked
through the documentation (which makes any graphing very complicated to me)
but i havent

Legality of transformation
Please consider the following C code:

int i, tmp; for (i = 0; i < SZ; i++) { tmp = A[i];
B[i] = tmp; } assert(A[SZ/2] == B[SZ/2]); }*
On running -O1 followed by -reg2mem I get the following IR:

Slow RAID Check/high %iowait during check after updgrade from CentOS 6.5 -> CentOS 7.2
All of our Kafka clusters are fairly write-heavy. The cluster in question is our second-heaviest ? we haven?t yet upgraded the heaviest, due to the issues we?ve been experiencing in this one.
Here is an iostat example from a host within the same cluster, but without the RAID check running:
[root at r2k1 ~] # iostat -xdmc 1 10
Linux 3.10.0-327.13.1.el7.x86_64 (r2k1) 05/27/16 _x86_64_ (32 CPU)

LLVM Backend Issues
Thanks Anton and Krzysztof!
Here is the dump using the -debug flag. At this point I am not making much
sense of this, would it be too much to ask if one of you could walk me
through one of these lines?
One thing that I didn't point out is that I never defined any separate
floating point registers, not sure if this will pose any issue?
Thanks again for your time!

[LLVMdev] LLVM assembly without basic block
Thank you for reminding me the notion of the basic block.
Of course, I know all the assembly takes the form of BBs and is divided into units of BB.
OK. It looks better for me to explain what I wanted to do more clear from the first.
Actually, I am working on emitting out an assembly of VM by using LLVM. LLVM assembly looks similar with this VM assembly except BB. The VM assembly does not have the

xyplot problem
Hi all,
I am trying to produce some panels with dots in an X/Y plane where the
diameter of the dots indicates a Z value (like e.g. earthquake maps where dot
sizes indicate magnitudes and X/Y the location).
This works fine with xyplot, e.g.:
xyplot(1:3~1:3,cex=1:3,pch=16)
However, when I do this with a panel variable, e.g.:
x<-rep(1:3,5)
y <- rep(1:3,5)
sz <- rep(1:5,each=3)

[LLVMdev] SCEV and induction variable identification
Hi Fellows,
The goal is to find the induction variable for a loop, where the
induction variable increments with the multiplication, division or shift
operations, like this one:
sz = 8;
do {
... ...
sz = sz / 2;
} while (sz)
Is SCEV capable of detecting the induction variable 'sz' in this case?
The code snippet I am using to solve the problem is

ustack() issues && correlating SIGSEGV activity?
Howdy,
I was playing around with the malloc/free D script provided by
Philip Beevers:

And decided to change the free:entry probe from:

{
printf("Freeing %p (size %d)\n", arg0, sz[arg0]);
sz[arg0] = 0;
}

SWAT works with Webmin but not via localhost:901
I have tried everything that I know of.
I have reviewed the services file and the swat file in xinetd.d a tun of times. It appears, via netstat that swat is listening on port 901.
However when I attempt to access it via the Mozilla browser on my Fedora server (with 127.0.0.1:901 or localhost:901) nothing happens. It just sits there.
However, if I access it via webmin (which has swat stored
