Funny you should post this now. I was just cleaning up some DNS records and the following happend. I had to PTR records with an empty timestamp. I deleted them and wanted to recreate them. My reverse Zones are 0.168.192.in-addr.arpa and 2.168.192.in-addr.arpa both of the records I delted were in the "0" zone. The first i recreated with: samba-tool dns add dc1

Hai,   I suggest start with. 1) backup you smb.conf 2) cleanup your smb.conf   About the "access is denied". Which brother printer is it ? you didnt tell us that. Which printer driver,please post a link.   Did you set the SePrivileges? Did you configure the share with "POSIX" or WINDOWS rights. ?   And in the folder /srv/samba/Printer_drivers/ make this

We have the same issue with Samba 4.13.17. For Ubuntu 20.04 with Samba 4.13.17 there seems to be only a workaround to solve the login problem: Modifying the Local Security Policy -> Local Policies -> Security Options -> Network security: "Configure encryption types allowed for Kerberos" Check only DES_CBC_CRC, DES_CBC_MD5 and RC4_HMAC_MD5. ? Hi, i have the same problem on samba 4.7.3 and 4.7.4. I start with 2 DCs and the sync works fine. After the join of a third DC mostly i get the WERR_DS_DRA_ACCESS_DENIED. I tested it for 10 times. in my case i have: DC1 (with any FSMO Roles) DC2 new join as DC: DC3 After the join, the sync from DC2 to DC3 fails. samba-tool drs replicate dc2 dc1 dc=gvcc,dc=net : OK samba-tool drs replicate

On a Win8.1 client i can do local logins as every user, i can login via RDP as local user, but i am not able to login as a domain user via RDP.
