samba4 wbinfo failed to call wbcLookupName: WBC_ERR_DOMAIN_NOT_FOUND.
Hello. I have installed sernet-samba4 on CentOS 6.7 and provisioned a domain "VERDERA.BIZ" and "VERDERA" as workgroup, to which I can add a Windows 7 client (tried two times both worked fine). My problem comes with users/groups administration, I cannot add neither not even see info on them, look at this: [root at dc1 ~]# wbinfo -u [root at dc1 ~]# wbinfo -g [root at dc1

Scenario with CIFS
Hi all! I'm trying to get samba working with CIFS, mounting a share on a client and keeping the original file/dir permissions. The problem is that after I (successfully) mount that share by CIFS, I can't write anything in it, because I get a 'Permission denied' error. smbd version is 6.3.6. My testparm is: root at samba:~# testparm Load smb config files from /etc/samba/smb.conf

Hi there, Yesterday I've updated from 7 to 7.1 and today I've noticed on 2 server that postgresql systemd file was replaced with default values. This make postgres to no start and webserver give me problem. This problem was fixed and now all works good. It's normal that on major update I can get this problem? If so, I've ridden release change but I have not ridden about

Bi-directional sync for Sysvol folder -- Osync?
Hi, I was thinking about bidirectional sync of sysvol and i've a question: ?What about DRBD?. You can create a disk partition in every node, create a DRBD cluster and then mount that partition on sysvol folder. The sincronization is bidirectional and in real time. For now i've not tested this option, but i've plans to start some tests. What is your opinion about this? Greetings!!

Can you explain more about,, the DC1 will remove any emptey directory on DC1. tested it here, but that does not occure here. i can create empty directories on DC1, and these are synced to DC2. empty or not. ? ?DC1 will overwrite any users/group change on DC2? if setup correctly, your sysvol rights on DC1 and DC2 are the same.. ? i suggest you to the following. get the

Second DC doesn't recognize users/groups on getent
Yup, compiled it myself and did not change the path. The query to the ldb returned the same thing on both DC1 and DC2. DNS and /etc/hosts are also fine, DC1 dns points to DC2 and DC2 to DC1. Everything seems to be completely fine... I was looking into this issue because I was doing the sysvol replication and noticed that the sysvol path had a '300000' as the group owner on DC2, where on
