As I understand things:
Samba4.2 and lower is designed for the Heimal (sp!) kerberos.
Redhat/Fedora/Centos provides the MIT kerberos.

Seems solved - Re: sernet kerberos
Going back here on old messages about kerberos I did:
yum install krb5-workstation
And kinit and others are there and working. Seems reasonable that the
client should not care about the backed type (Heimdal or MIT).
Though don't know if I need to install krb5-devel; time will tell.

sernet documentation
I've been using bind9 and DHCP on Samba 4.1.0 thru 4.1.17 and Slackware 64 14.1
for many months now in a production environment and it works just fine. There
are a few tweaks here and there to get bind/dhcp to play nicely with Samba ...
Note, conf file locations are Slackware, but you'll know where the same thing
goes in your distro. In the examples below, my Domain IP range is

IPv6 support in VNC Server E4.1.7/P4.1.2
VNC Server E4.1.7 & P4.1.2 are fully IPv6-aware, but is shipped with
IPv6 support disabled by default, for security reasons. IPv6 can be
enabled by setting "InTransports=IPv6,IPv4" (the default being IPv4
only), either on the command-line when starting vncserver under Unix

I don't know if I really like this background though it is kind of neat.
Where do I find the app to change this?

Roundcubemail problem with Dovecot
I am getting "Connection to storage server failed." in roundcubemail.
On doing a google search If find:
http://help.directadmin.com/item.php?id=473
Which puts the problem at dovecot. I did get a dovecot update back on
3-5 and that would match to my one roundcube mail user complaining and
the delays I am seeing with thunderbird and outlook users.
So with my setup, I am trying to

I am building a new server. It will be a temporary firewall of sorts.
I am well into the config, made a lot of changes; almost ready to set it
up in the target networks, but now....
The system hangs trying to start sendmail. I was thinking hard about
disabling sendmail, but thought I needed it for internal functions, so
did not. yet.
So is there someway to get the system working so I can
