Re: install issues
Are you trying to install the 64-bit or the 32-bit? While the install is running, some of the other virtual consoles display logs and error information. What do those show when the install rejects your disk? What result did you get trying from the HTTP install? -----Original Message----- From: centos-bounces at centos.org [mailto:centos-bounces at centos.org] On Behalf Of William Warren Sent:

VPN server and logon to Samba PDC
My goal is to make VPN access to our Samba PDC (FreeBSD 7.0) so that users can access there home shares from Windows clients. I have read the instructions at http://samba.org/ftp/unpacked/lorikeet/pppd/final-report.pdf, but I can't make it work. Don't know if is due to my lack of skills or has something to do with the Popop functionality in FreeBSD. Following the instructions, i made a

partial cumsum
Hello, I am searching for a function to calculate "partial" cumsums. For example it should calculate the cumulative sums until a NA appears, and restart the cumsum calculation after the NA. this: x <- c(1, 2, 3, NA, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10) should become this: 1 3 6 NA 5 11 18 26 35 45 any ideas? thank you and best regards, stefan

3.0.20 -> 3.0.23 SID/group error?? Won't connect.
Gerry, all: HELP! On mandriva, I compiled samba from source and got it running, but I cannot connect from windows. (see my post from earlier "[Samba] Compiling and Configuring Samba for Mandrival") I think this relates to the group/SID changes discussed in the release notes. However, I'm not smart enough to figure it out. The tarball compiled and installed fine. It

Mailfiles gets duplicated
Hello, With my configuration Dovecot creates multiple duplicates (sometimes 2, sometimes 3, sometimes a plenty) of mailfiles when moving them into the Sent or the Trash folders. This does not affect the Inbox folder. I observed this while using Thunderbird on Ubuntu as a client as well as K9-Mail on Android, therefore I expect this comes from the Dovecot server and not from the client

data(lh) time serie parameters
Dear all, I'm confused by the time serie parameters in data(lh) : sueoka:~ lobry$ R --vanilla --quiet > tsp(lh) [1] 1 48 1 because documentation says: QUOTE A regular time series giving the luteinizing hormone in blood samples at 10 mins intervals from a human female, 48 samples. UNQUOTE So that I would expect the time serie to end at 480 minutes or 8 hours. Shouldn't we have

interrupted time series analysis using ARIMA models
Hi R-users, I am using arima to fit a time series. Now I would like to include an intervention component "It (0 before intervention, 1 after)" using different types of impacts, that is, not only trying the simple abrupt permanent impact (yt = w It ) with the xreg option but also trying with a gradual permanent impact (yt= d * yt-1 + w * It ), following the filosophy of Box and Tiao

Implementation for selecting lag of a lag window spectral estimator using generalized cross validation (using deviance)
Dear All, I am looking for: A software to select the lag length for a lag window spectral estimator. Also, I have a small query in the reprex given below. Background for the above, from the book by Percival and Walden: 1. We are given X_1,...,X_n which is one realization of a stochastic process. 2. We may compute the periodogram using FFT, for example by the function spectrum in R. 3. The

I have an old Centos 6 running dovecot 2.1.17 with Postfix 2.1x, mysql virtual domains, in the process of setting a new Centos 7 to migrate, copied /etc/dovecot, made some minor edits to get rid of errors, added Letsencrypt in place of self certified certs, it seems to work, using mail client I can log on StartSSL/110/143, TLS/995/993 with no visible errors when login on is there any other sanity
