Continuous Normalisation error for attribute whenCreated when performing dbcheck
Hi all, since the migration of our old Win2k domain to Samba4 some years ago I get a lot of errors like the following when doing a "samba-tool dbcheck --cross-ncs --fix" : ERROR: Normalisation error for attribute whenCreated in CN=rpc-Ns-Group,CN=Schema,CN=Configuration,DC=samdom,DC=com value '19700101000000.0Z' should be '16010101000000.0Z' Fix normalisation for

Hai Mason,   I had a look at the debug output.   on 1) why around 15-16 second, that i really dont know. im trying to figure that out. on 2) if DNS is inconsistance, that everything is unrelayable. This is really the first the that needs fixing. then we look again at the replication.   The debug output still shows several messages about zones in flat files. I still do believe also that this

[PATCH nbdkit 0/7] server: Allow datapath debug messages to be suppressed.
The immediate reason for this patch is to reduce the amount of debugging in virt-v2v with using the virt-v2v -v option (because this implies running nbdkit in verbose mode too). Most of the messages are datapath ones about pread/pwrite requests, and in fact as we've added more filters on top of nbdkit these messages have got more and more verbose. However they are not particularly

No Samba NT DOMAIN Name found exitting now...
Seems to relate to kerberos. I cannot "kinit administrator". Returns "kinit cannot contact KDC for realm 'subdom.example.com' while getting initial credentials." "samba-info.sh" script returns 'NT_STATUS_CONNECTION_REFUSED' and that 'ERROR: invalid ip address for dc1.subdom.example.com' (Sorry on my laptop. Difficult to copy & paste

[PATCH nbdkit 2/7] tests/test-debug-flags.sh: Log the error from nbdkit unconditionally.
Useful to print the error displayed by nbdkit in all cases, not just when the test fails. Patch series for Cloud Vm Actions
The following two patches should be applied in the order: * [PATCH server] Add svc_vm_actions method to VmService. * [PATCH server] Cloud UI layer to initiate actions on vms. The service layer patch should work fine on its own (and not break anything), but cloud patch relies on service being there.

I'm coming from a Debian system so my system accounts are below 1000, regular accounts start at 1000. For some historical reason somebody gave our main group id 500 so therefor I want my usable range to start at 500. Do I need both idmap config *:range and idmap config SAMDOM:range? I also tried with only 'idmap config *:range' but that didn't seem to help. I'll try again
