vfs_shadow_copy2 cannot read/find snapshots
Hi Alexander # net conf delparm projects shadow:snapprefix does not change a thing. The error persists. Hai, First i must say, i dont use/know gluster. But I noticed you config (smb.conf) is a bit off. store dos attributes = Yes << is missing. And i would say setup netbios name and REALM in CAPS. vfs_shadow_copy2 cannot read/find snapshots
Hi Sebastian, why are you using shadow:snapprefix if this is just ?snap?? Does it work using ONLY shadow:format = snap_GMT-%Y.%m.%d-%H.%M.%S ? If you use snapprefix you also need to use shadow:delimiter (in your case this would be ?_?). However, I never managed to get it working with snapprefix on my machines. Samba 4.10.7 and 4.9.12 for rhel7/centos7 rpms
Hi everyone, In case anyone's interested, I've posted the rpm builds of samba 4.10.4 that I'm using on RHEL7.7. (I run these in VMs, serving as AD DCs for my SOHO). Comments most welcomed.
