Tinc with TOR: hostname leak
Hi guys! I'm trying to setup private network inside TOR using "proxy = socks5" variable in tinc.conf, but I found that tinc trying to resolve .onion domain with system resolver first, leaking peer's tor hostname to ISP. So is there any way to disable such behavior and resolve hostname with proxy?

Dear Davor, would you please stop abusing this thread? The topic and initially posting is talking of something quite different than Rowland used in his first answer and to what you have replied. Thanks for your understanding. And no, uid and gid is not the same (uid!=gid) Regards, Mirco

I'm experimenting with tor hidden services and got it to work nicely on my Centos7, with tor from epel. That is, until I booted the machine. Then SELinux kicked in and in the logs there's? I've just encountered a problem starting tor. When I do 'systemctl start tor' it fails and I get selinux errors in the log. There was suggestion to do full auditing with 'auditctl -w /etc/shadow -p w'. Which I did and it gave the following type=PROCTITLE msg=audit(1539540150.692:60570): proctitle=2F7573722F62696E2F746F72002D2D72756E61736461656D6F6E0030002D2

Looking for tor users experiencing crashes
I've had an informal, third or fourth hand report of kernel instability when running Tor under load on unidentified versions of FreeBSD. Obviously, this is a bit vague as bug reports go, but I'm interested in seeing if anyone has had real experience with this happening, and might be interested in helping to track it down. If there are kernel crashes, I'm specifically looking for

[PATCH net-next v2 17/17] net: Kill MSG_SENDPAGE_NOTLAST
Now that ->sendpage() has been removed, MSG_SENDPAGE_NOTLAST can be cleaned up. Things were converted to use MSG_MORE instead, but the protocol sendpage stubs still convert MSG_SENDPAGE_NOTLAST to MSG_MORE, which is now unnecessary. Create network of untrusted peers (like SocialVPN, ChaosVPN, etc)
For some weeks I've been trying to devise a way to connect multiple users in various parts of the city and state, and I found out that most likely Tinc is the only daemon that does the kind of meshing I want. I was successful in connecting some servers of mine around in switch mode, but now comes the hard part: How can I authenticate clients on my network? I would also need to direct static

add points to 3D plot using p3d {onion}
Hi, Can anyone guide me as to how I can add points to a p3d() plot from the onion package?? I want to plot points with different colors on the same 3D plot.? Perhaps I can do this without adding points but somehow directing the 'h' parameter to give different color to points based on a factor I assign to them? FYI, I can do this using using scatterplot3d() and points3d(), but these plots
