Also, I always committed to OpenWrt packages but I see my commits are there also for LEDE. You can find tinc package in openwrt repo and install it with opkg or luci. Hi Maxim The reason I have two kernel is as follows. When I did fresh install of openwrt , i tried "opkg install tinc" . It then said "dependency required , kernel (= 3.3.8-1-" as I was on 2.6.31. I then downloaded 3.3.8-1 and did opkg install kernel. And this is how I have both...I think i just need to get a better image to start off with...Ill search and get back to you.

Hi, we are using Tinc in our Freifunk Network in Oldenburg for internode connections over the internet. So Tinc is running on OpenWrt 10.03 on Dlink Dir-300 Routers. We all have enough internet bandwith (1,6 MB/sec and more) but we only get a maximum speed of ~350KB/sec between two tinc nodes because then tinc uses 99% of the cpu. Is it possible to get more Speed with tinc on this machines?
