How does tinc server handle the case one client's key file is removed after connection
Thanks Guus for the quick answer, I will give a try now. Рысь, In my case we don't want to restart tinc "server" at all, therefore what might happen is that the client is still connected to server while its public key was already removed from server. I will try the signal approach. Heng On Mon, Jul 25, 2016 at 12:42 PM, <tinc-request at tinc-vpn.org> wrote: > Send tinc

tinc 1.1 never seems to accept UDP packets from 1.0.24 hosts
Hallo, I have a couple of tinc hosts in the same network, some using the latest tinc 1.1 git and some using 1.0.24. It seems like traffic between 1.1 and 1.0 nodes is always transfered using TCP (and an intermediate node, if not directly connected), never with UDP. Viewed from host W (tinc 1.1): (All after successfully pinging an IP behind the remote side to trigger UDP path probing, and

Server used in DOS attack on UDP port 0
Hi, One of our AWS machines was used in an DOS attack last night and I am looking for possible attack vectors. AWS tells me it was sending UDP port 0 traffic to a cloudflare address. This instance had an incorrectly configured AWS security group exposing all ports. The server in question is a Centos 7 based FreeIPA server, OpenVPN concentrator and DNS server. With a brief inspection before the
