IPv6, ULAs and FreeBSD
Hello, I already consulted related lists @freebsd.org [1,2] but I have remained unsuccessful to solve the following issue: VPN works for an internal IPv4 subnet, but I doesn't for an internal IPv6 subnet with ULAs. To be honest, I don't have any experience setting up a local IPv6; so I guess that I'm doing something wrong here. For those that know FreeBSD: The main aim is to connect

How do I decide between link-local or unique-local addresses for

Privacy Extension not working in VM
Hello @ all With the rebuilding of my Server from Debian 9 to Debian 10, I also switch from Virtual Box to Libvirt/KVM. Due to new requirements for the VMs, now I have an actual problem, which unfortunately I can not solve. The problem has already been discussed in the German Debian-Forum ... unfortunately also without success. The facts: - ISP = Dual Stack with daily separation - Host and

hashing using named lists
hi all, I am trying to use named list to hash a bunch of vector by name, for instance: test = list() test$name = c(1,2,3) the problem is that when i try to get the values back by using the name, the matching isn't done in an exact way, so test$na is not NULL. is there a way around this? Why by default all.equal.list doesnt require an exact match? How can I do hashing in R? thanks. ulas.

Dovecot CalDAV server
I've been once in a while over the years thinking about implementing CalDAV (and CardDAV) to Dovecot. It might be time to start that soon. Does anyone have any suggestions? So far my main goals would be: - scalable, of course - configurable storage (object storage, regular fs, maybe some key-value dbs, maybe storing as emails) - efficient indexes (potentially using key-value dbs? or maybe

SIP rogue channel
Hi, one of the sip-extensions we created always returns busy when someone tries to call the phone. The extension itself can place calls. We're using snom360 phones with the latest firmware. On every one of those phones when we register with the sip-extension, we've experienced the same problem. This is the output from sip show channels: Peer User/ANR Call ID Seq

How to avoid rounding of matrix elements?
Hi all R-users, If I have a matrix with numeric elements as follows, the values are rounded when I try to refer to a specifici element using [], the value is rounded. The same thing happens if the matrix is read from a file, the values are stored to the correct precision but then when I try to refer to a specific element (such as using [], it is rounded. How do I avoid this rounding?
