Securing tinc config files
Thanks Guus
So based of this , having your central tinc server in VPS Provider , will
allow potentially the provider to replicate your config files and thus
exposing all your remote sites connected. My situation I face is all my
remote sites have dynamic addresses ,and in order for me to create a
connection point between the sites is to have a central server in cloud
with public address. Therefor

Securing tinc config files
Thanks Guus.. So if someone had to gain access to my vm-disk. They would
not be able to view the contents of the files in ""etc/tinc" if I do "sudo
chmod go= /etc/tinc" .. My paranoia is around a VPS provider who had admin
access to all containers. I know that I have to create a root password that
will allow only myself root access , but im just worried about the disk

Securing tinc config files
I cannot use dynamic dns , the remote sites connect through 4G LTE and get
assigned "Private Addresses" that are NATd to a Public Address. The LTE
clients can only make connections outward to the Internet and features such
as PAT and Dynamic DNS will not work. Therfor for these remote sites I need
a Central Server Located on Internet to peer with in order for the Site to
Site connection

Securing tinc config files
Hi Guus
Yeah I kinda thought of that only once I hit the "Send" button .... I guess
I have two options ,
1. Manage my own server with public ip address
2. Trust my VPS provider LOL....
I read this from digitalocean "Privacy Policy"
Server Data
*DigitalOcean does not have access to its users? server data. The backend
is locked away from the users? support staff and only

tinc running openwrt (mikrotik metarouter mips)
You can find tinc package in openwrt repo and install it with opkg or luci.
I suggest you first run couple of tinc nodes on x86, just to understand how it works.

tinc 1.1 - import
Hi
I have been testing the "import" function in tinc. It works great however
there is one thing I need help doing. When I import the RSA keypairs from
multiple devices into a tinc node using the import , the last RSA key pair
data is not saved. I only get a blank host file. For example
*Hub*
:~#Tinc -n <netname> import
name = site 1
--- <begin rsa pub key ---

R debo especificar c( 8,0,0)
usando la función Arima del paquete forecast,

securing R code....
dear members,
I am a stock trader. I am using R for my research.
I want to service my laptop, wherein resides all my R code, which, for obvious reasons, has to be secured. I am using Windows 7 Ultimate.
I cannot encrypt the R data by Bitdefender, as it encrypts the entire drive. I anyway need to give the key when the system, if at all, gets locked when servicing.

samba4 on centos 7 won't promote to dc
Hello everyone
I have successfully deployed samba 4.4.2 on Centos7 as PDC. I had to use
BIND9_DLZ because samba_internal was not working. I have successfully
joined win7 machine to a domain and with RSAT I can add user, GP etc.. This
was all possible but with a more than a few tweaks but I have some
questions. But at this time only one is bugging me crazy.
