Feasibility of Tinc vpn with my current setup.
Thanks for the reply Guss,
So in my case the Amazon VPS server is behind a FULL CONE NAT(static NAT),
so is that enough to hole punch other nodes. what all ports will should be
opened up on the NAT device? Most of the other nodes are behind cg-nat, so
I wont have any control over its nat.
Thank you,
Regards,
Bobby Thomas.

Samba ADS-member-server: FQDNs in /etc/hosts
(new thread, same migration project)
I see GPOs applied, but network drives sometimes mapped, sometimes not.
Found something around hardened UNC paths, applied some GPO, dunno if
that is necessary or helps (I still have to check where to apply that
GPO, computer or user ...).
While debugging that I find in log.smbd on the member server:

Statistical tests and measures for "cone-like" distributions?
Hi,
Are there any special statistical tests, or functions in R I could use
to measure "cone-like" distributions?
I have several data-sets, which I've been plotting parts of as 2D
plots, where I get a "cone-like" distribution of the data points.
That is, the data appears to be bounded by two non-parallel lines,
starting at the origin, giving rise to a

FileSize changing in GlusterNodes
Hi,
When I upload files into the gluster volume, it replicates all the files to both gluster nodes. But the file size slightly varies by (4-10KB), which changes the md5sum of the file.
Command to check file size : du -k *. I'm using glusterFS 3.3.1 with Centos 6.4
This is creating inconsistency between the files on both the bricks. ? What is the reason for this changed file size and how can

Shutting down a GlusterFS server.
Hi,
I have a 2-node replica volume running with GlusterFS 3.3.2 on Centos 6.4. I want to shut down one of the gluster servers for maintenance. Any best practice that is to be followed while turning off a server in terms of services etc. Or can I just shut down the server. ?
Thanks & Regards,
Bobby Jacob

read.csv.sql() to select from a large csv file
Dear list,
Dear list,
I am using read.csv.sql() from the sqldf package to read
individual-based data from a csv file that is too large for R.
My original file contains a column called “ID” that
identifies the individual. I would like to read in data for only
one individual at a
time, for example "Bobby".
read.csv.sql("filename",sql = 'select * from file where ID =

Support for GlusterFS
Hi,
Is there an option to procure support for glusterfs deployment. ? As we moving into core production scenarios with glusterfs in mind, it would be slightly relieving to have this confirmation !!
Thanks & Regards,
Bobby Jacob

Hi Folks,
The attached patches gets the Blocks runtime built and installed on my
